For Sarah's beautiful bridesmaid, Taylor, we originally trialled a soft glam look. But after seeing everything come together, she decided she'd feel even more comfortable with something a little softer and more natural.

And that's the beauty of a bridal or wedding party trial.

It gives you the confidence to make little tweaks, so when you sit in the makeup chair on the morning of the wedding, there's no second guessing, just excitement 🤩

For Taylor, we softened the eye makeup to create a more natural glam look while still keeping the fresh, radiant skin and timeless finish that complemented the rest of the bridal party beautifully.

The final look was elegant, understated and completely true to her own personal style. Proof that bridal party makeup doesn't have to be identical to look cohesive in photos. Every look is customised to suit the individual whilst still creating a beautifully harmonious bridal party.

✨ Bridal party makeup should never feel like a copy and paste✨

One of the most important parts of creating a cohesive bridal party look is making sure every person still feels comfortable, confident and like themselves 🤍

For beautiful bridesmaid Katie, we kept the overall look softer and more understated to suit her own personal style, as she doesn’t normally wear a lot of makeup day-to-day.

While the makeup still tied in beautifully with the rest of the bridal party, we adapted the look to feel more natural and effortless on Katie specifically.

We opted for:
• Clean, softly defined eyeshadow
• Slightly stronger smoky liner for subtle eye definition
• Fresh radiant skin
• The softest natural lip to keep everything elegant and understated – just a wee bit of lip liner & lip salve!

It’s the perfect example of how bridal party makeup can still feel cohesive in photographs while being fully customised to each person’s features, comfort level and personal style.

The result was polished, timeless natural glam that enhanced rather than overpowered.

✨ “I’m not really sure what to do with my tricky skin… I just want it looking its absolute best for my wedding day and photos.” ✨

A concern so many of my brides quietly have before the big day 🤍

Our beautiful Irish bride Sarah was married in the stunning St Mary’s Cathedral, wearing the most timeless, elegant gown - so her makeup needed to feel just as polished and elegant.

From the beginning, Sarah wanted skin that still looked like her… just perfected. Fresh, natural, refined bridal glam that enhanced rather than overpowered her features.

As Sarah was undergoing a course of skin treatment affecting her skin’s texture and condition, we scheduled a second bridal trial focused purely on her base makeup just a few days before the wedding. This allowed us to properly assess how her skin was behaving as close to the big day as possible.

And honestly, it was worth its weight in gold 👌

At the second trial, I was able to give Sarah additional skincare and prep tips to help smooth and calm the skin before the wedding morning. We also had to completely rethink the products we had originally planned to use, to achieve the smoothest, most flawless finish possible for her changing skin.

The end result was a beautifully smooth and luminous bridal base that looked flawless both in person and on camera 📸

A little reminder that bridal makeup is never one-size-fits-all - and sometimes that extra planning, expertise and attention to detail makes all the difference.

👌 Soft Glam Bridesmaid Perfection 👌

For my bridesmaid, Helen, we went for the warm pinky-brown eye tones paired with demi wispy lashes to subtly enhance and open the eyes without looking (or feeling) overly heavy.

We kept the skin fresh, flawless and radiant, then finished everything with a gorge warm coral-pink lip & blush - complementing Helen’s colouring and sage green dress beautifully ✨
