Happy New month 💜 Can you believe we’re in April? The year is flying by. Hope it’s a great month for you all 🥰 do you have any plans for this month?

I am excited to let you all know that my eco swaps shop is now open 😍 great timing, new month, full moon🌙 the pink moon tonight too.

These are the new products I have started off with, I will also have some coconut scourers and some of my crochet eco friendly swaps in there too. I am waiting for these to arrive and add them to the shop. I have added the 🔗 to the top of my page 💚
Is there anything that peaks your interest?
If you have any questions do ask.

Happy Monday 💜

So I have some changes afoot. Sorry for the long post!

I will post this on all my pages so everyone knows!

At the moment I have 3 pages and I am struggling to keep up and respond to all your lovely comments.

As many of you know my journey with Clean Living has come to an end as they closed the Ambassador program the end of January 😢 I have been trying to decide what to do next!

I have my Cleaning page, this is going to become my Eco page, for all things eco and sustainable. I will share eco swaps, that I have tried and you will be able to buy from me through me or a sum up shop. This may take me time to set up so bear with me. 💚

I also have a page for my Neal’s Yard. This will be paused for now.
I will be talking about Neal’s Yard for my sustainable skincare on my eco page. You can see all this on my Neal’s yard shop link (I will add in the comments) or message me and I am happy to order and send out it you would like a mix of products.💙

I already have my crochet page so I am keeping that and continuing to post all my lovely crochet creations on there as usual. I may post some of my eco friendly crochet makes on my new joint eco page too. 💜

Hope it’s clear. Any questions do ask and I will be happy to help. If the page changes are not for you, please don’t feel you have to continue to follow and support me. I really appreciate everyone that sticks with me and does support me 🥰

Have a lovely day

Todays shout out is for the lovely Lesley, another fellow mightie maker 😍 Her page is The Steampunk Astrologer 💜

She makes Astrological charts, gifts and beautiful cards as you can see below. 😍
When I saw the Little Wren Phoenix and the meaning behind it, I just had to have it. It’s printed on metallic photo paper and the effect is beautiful, I am going to frame mine 😍 it also comes with all the lovely extras too.

Do check her page out 🥰

💜Happy Scent Saturday 💜

Thank you for all your input yesterday, lots to think about and will let you know.

Today I thought I would share more about Juniper essential oil as it is 15% off this month 💙

It is not an essential oil know. All I am sharing is what I have learnt from the Neal’s Yard Essentials oils book. Is it one you have used or heard of?

Juniper has a fresh, warm, woody and herbaceous scent and is steam distilled from the dried crushed fruit of the twig and berries from the juniper plant. You may have heard of the berries as they are used to flavour gin.

It blends beautifully with: Cedarwood, lemon and black pepper.

My graphic shows some of the uses.
You can add 1-3 drops to a diffuser or tea light burner. Or add to a carrier oil to enjoy the benefits of it in a massage.
Do not use neat on your skin or ingest.

I am no expert so do consult a qualified aromatherapist or medical practitioner if you have pre existing medical conditions or are pregnant.
It is not safe for dogs and cats.

Any questions do ask.
Have a lovely day. Any plans?

Happy Friday 💜

Something a bit different today. I know most of you will know I was a Clean Living Ambassador until last weekend. They are winding down and the ambassador programme sadly finished at the end of January. 😔
Being eco friendly and finding sustainable swaps is still so important to me.
I have my sustainable skin care through Neals Yard and I am so happy I have rediscovered them.

I do have a fair amount of Clean Living products so will continue to use them as long as I can.
But there are still swaps I would like to discover alternatives for and am on the lookout for.

I was wondering if there are any eco friendly swaps you are thinking of making, that I could research at the same time?

I was also thinking of creating one Eco page with things I had found and maybe setting up an online shop. I was thinking of combining this page with my cleaning page as I have found 3 pages quite a lot to manage. I wondered your thoughts on this or should I keep my Neal’s Yard page separate from an Eco swaps page?

Thank you for reading and any feedback gratefully received 💜
Have a lovely day

Happy Thursday 💕

I realised I hadn’t shared this last eco friendly letterbox gift set with you yet, although while I was taking photos of this one another one sprang to mind! So I took photos of that too, to share another day!

The Wild Rose Soap set. The wild rose soap contains nourishing organic shea butter, provitamin A-rich organic wild rosehip seed oil and patchouli essential oil.
I do love this soap, it smells gorgeous. I love patchouli, sadly my partner hates it.

I have paired it with a round or heart tea light, a Fired Up tea bag and 2 of my recycled cotton face wipes. Do you like them different colours or the same colour?

Have a lovely day. Any plans?
I have pulled a muscle in my back so rubbing on lots of the Neal’s Yard warming salve to give me some relief.

Happy Wednesday 💕

Half way through already! How’s your week going?

So lots of you asked yesterday if I was using the Neal’s Yard eye brightener. I started using it this week and love it already.
Here’s me using it! Excuse the extreme close up 🫣 I am trying to show where to apply it. This is one of the many things I have learnt since joining Neal’s yard. I had been using eye products completely wrong. You basically gently dab the product where you would wear glasses and the product is absorbed into your eye area to do its job. The eye area is too delicate to be rubbing things in to it. As I am now using this method, you can feel how it is still so refreshing around your eyes, even though the product is not going anywhere near your eyes.
Have you been applying it correctly or were you like me?

Have a lovely day

Happy Tuesday 💕

Sorry I didn’t get back to you all yesterday. Sunday/Monday is like our weekend so sometimes I can get busy with family stuff. Also bit up and down ME wise. Tuesday is my catch up day so fingers crossed! Thank you for all the lovely comments, I do read them all even if I haven’t replied yet.
How was the start of your week?

So it’s funny that I had this in my gift box sets and it’s hero of the month this week! 💕
I tried it for the first time yesterday and it’s gorgeous. It made my eyes feel lovely and soft and it smells gorgeous too. I have taken some before pics so will see how it goes and share with you. I will be sharing more this week about using it too and talking about the different ingredients in it.

It contains organic wild rosehip seed oil. It visibly improves radiance around the eye area. With hyaluronic acid to instantly smooth and plump, and light-reflecting mineral pigments to improve the appearance of dark circles. Soothing green tea caffeine works to energise and revitalise skin, reducing dark circles and puffiness for a brighter, revitalised eye area. area.
Do you use an eye cream?

I do have samples of this, if it’s something you would like to try, drop me a message?
Have a lovely day

Happy Monday and Happy 2nd day of February 💙

I thought as it was a new month and I haven’t done an introduction for a while I thought I would share a little about me and why I joined Neal’s Yard.

I live in Devon with my partner and 2 not so little children! One is 16 and at college the other is 24 and in her last year at Uni. We also have the lovely Luna 🐶
I am also a step granny to 2 cuties.
I love the sea 🌊 and the colour purple 💜

I joined Neals Yard last year, mainly because I was looking for things to go with my crochet creations for eco friendly letterbox gift sets. I love how sustainable, ethical and eco friendly they are 💙

I also joined because of their wellbeing products. I can’t take much medication due to how I react with it with my ME, so am always looking for effective and natural products.

The last reason I joined was because of their huge range of essential oils. I am keen to learn more about them. I already use them in a tea light burner, a diffuser and I make my own hand soap and I use them in there too. I have fond memories of visiting Neals Yard in the 90’s when I was nursing just outside of London and bought my first essential oils from them 😍

My skincare routine was not the best when I joined, but when you do join you get a lovely kit of products to try and I fell in love with so many of their products. My skincare routine is now improving and my skin feels so much better for it!

Their products are all natural, cruelty free and organic and they have the largest collection of Soil’s Association certified health and beauty products, meaning you won’t find anything in the products that they believe could do you or the planet harm 💚

Is there anything you would like to know about Neal’s Yard or their products?
Have a lovely start to the week

💜Happy Scent Saturday 💜

I thought I would share more about Myrrh essential oil as it is 15% off this month and also remind you the Frankincense cleanser has 15% off. Both until the end of today.

It is not an essential oil I have used. All I am sharing is what I have learnt from the Neal’s Yard Essentials oils book, which is so interesting to read.

Myrrh has an earthy scent and is steam distilled from the resin, extracted from the tree.

It blends beautifully with: rose, frankincense and marjoram

My graphic shows some of the uses and it is definitely one I am going to investigate more, as it has so many fantastic uses.

I am no expert so do consult a qualified aromatherapist or medical practitioner if you have pre existing medical conditions or are pregnant.

Any questions do ask. You can also buy the book through me if you are interested in learning more like me 😍

Have a lovely day. Any plans?
