Sound baths aren't always just gentle chimes and relaxing melodies... and that's intentional.
Sometimes a gong or drum may sound deep, powerful, or even a little unsettling.
Our nervous system is wired to notice unfamiliar sounds. In a safe space, those moments can become an opportunity to move from tension into calm as the body realises there's no danger.
Not every sound is meant to soothe. Some are there to challenge, release, and remind us just how deeply we're able to relax afterwards.
Sometimes the sounds that make us pause are the ones that create the biggest shift.
Has there been any sounds you'e found unsettling in a soundbath? Sometimes even the koshi chimes can sound a bit creepy. Haha.
There were so many times I questioned whether opening my own space was the right thing to do.
Fear has a funny way of making you believe you're not ready, that you should wait a bit longer, save more, be more confident.
But I read something once about the laws of the universe and one was:
The thing you're most afraid to do is often the thing you're being called to do.
Opening The Reset Room wasn't just about renting a space. It was about believing in myself, backing my vision, and creating a space where people could slow down, breathe, heal and reconnect with themselves.
Was I scared? Yep!
But fear wasn't a stop sign. It was a compass pointing me towards growth.
Every person who walks through the door reminds me why I took the leap.
If there's something you've been putting off because it scares you, maybe ask yourself 'What if the fear isn't telling you to stop? What if it's pointing you towards the life you're meant to create'?
Fear isn't always the enemy. Sometimes it shows you the way to the next version of you.

What a weekend. My brain had smoke coming out of it by the end, but I'm telling you, if you think I'm good at my job just now... wait till you see me in a few months.
