Calling all Models 😲😲😲😲!!!!!

As many of you lovely followers know, I am newly trained in Microblading/Micro-pigmentation and the final stages of my qualification include carrying out at least 9 case studies in my own practice.

I am fully insured and very excited to be offering this deal which is half price and includes the exact same consultation, treatment, follow up & after care as the full price will.

Clinics will be held at Signature Beauty (above Kirsty’s hair salon) but appointments are limited due to the time and set up required. However, I will be offering Sundays!

I have had so much interest already but if you are seriously considering this treatment then please please do your research prior to making an appointment.

Microblading is a semi-permanent brow treatment used to enhance, thicken and create beautiful natural brows. It involves the use of a hand tool composed of ultra fine needles that create a bladed effect. In most cases it can last for about 18 months before needing a full top up but every client is different and the longevity can be affected by skin type, life style, health, aftercare...etc.

Post treatment the brows will look at least 50% darker (for about a week) than the finished look so not ideal if you have an occasion or holiday and a second treatment is required 6 weeks after the first one.

So...... here is the verdict!

1. Colour- I was matched up with the pigment Barbados with a drop of Casablanca to keep the warmth. I am happy with the colour but it looks very dark at the moment which is completely normal but I’m looking forward to it fading over the next few weeks 😬 they also look intense at the moment as they are bathed in pigment after the treatment for extra depth so once this fades the lovely hair strokes that have been created will be more visible 🤨

2. Shape- as you can see from my natural brows the therapist has added extra definition at the centre and arches of the brow. It feels strange to have such thicker brows but that is how a ‘well proportioned’ brow should look.

3. Pain- well it turns out that my skin doesn’t respond to anaesthetic 😰 so the pain was intense! However!!!!! This was actually a good thing because the tutor provided extra tips on how to solve this so fortunately, once we had got the numbing cream to work, I could hardly feel a thing ☺️

So there you go folks 🤗 a brief low down from a clients point of view about Microblading!

Just a brief introduction to my new business venture of Microblading!
I had been contemplating doing some new training for a while and after much thought and consideration I decided that Microblading was the way to go.
I have been a beauty therapist for over 12 years and started my own business, Signature Beauty in 2013. I already have a wonderful customer base in a private salon, which has essentially been driving force for this decision. I spend many appointments creating lovely eyebrows but for some clients the definition of the tint only lasts so long due to fine/sparse hairs..... Hence I wanted to be able to offer those clients and potential others the chance to have natural looking, defined brows that won’t require regular maintenance. Plus, the extra confidence in themselves!

After extensive research I chose to train with K.B Pro, founded by Karen Betts. Karen Betts is the UK’s most esteemed permanent make up and Microblading artist and one of the earliest pioneers in micro-pigmentation.
Karen is also the founder of Nouveau Lashes, a company which I have also completed training with at Signature Beauty.
K.B Pro offer a fantastic education and support which is another reason why I chose to train with them so I can confidently say that we are all in great hands.

I am still to complete the final stages of my training due to some delays but I am so so excited to start including you all on this journey which is why I thought it was time to introduce S.B Professional business page.
