What a fun month this has been both personally and in business. It’s been one of those months that felt busy in the best way, full of growth, exciting opportunities, lovely clients, and making memories along the way 🤍

Business-wise, I’m so grateful for everyone who continues to support me, book appointments, recommend me, and cheer me on. Every month I feel more motivated and inspired, and May has definitely reminded me why I love what I do so much ✨

Personally, it’s also been such a special month filled with quality time, little moments I never want to forget, and just trying to enjoy this season of life as much as possible 🫶

How important is the right deodorant when you’re having laser hair removal? VERY 👀✨

One thing I always go on about with my underarm girlies is switching to an aluminium-free deodorant it can make such a difference in how your skin reacts during and after LHR.

Here’s why 👇🏼
Deodorants with aluminium (like our old faithful Mitchum) work by blocking the sweat glands which can:

❌sit in the skin and make it more sensitive to heat from the laser
❌increase the chance of irritation, redness or that “stingy” feeling after treatment
❌sometimes cause buildup that reacts with the laser energy

So while they’re great for keeping you dry day-to-day, they’re not ideal when you’re having LHR and trying to keep the skin as calm as possible.

A client recently recommended the Sol de Janeiro deodorant to me and WOW… it ticks every box 😍
✔️ Aluminium-free
✔️ Gentle on the skin
✔️ Smells INSANE (like, all day kind of insane)

I picked it up on Amazon for around £12 a bit pricey for a deodorant, but honestly worth it for the results and the scent alone.

A little reminder of why mole checks are SO important…

Im a firm believer that you cross paths with people for a reason and at the right times 👏🏻 I received this message from a long time client today who actually was a sports massage client of mine but felt it was something I really needed to share (with permission). No fancy post made up just a real time message sent with pure gratitude 🥹

A mole we checked late last year and referred to has come back as **cancerous**. Thankfully, it’s been caught early and is now being treated. but it just shows how important it is to never ignore anything you’re unsure about and I genuinely feel so grateful I could help. 😭

If you have a mole, lesion, or anything on your skin that:
• Has changed
• Looks unusual
• Doesn’t feel right
• Or you’re just not 100% confident about

PLEASE get it checked.

• £80 – initial appointment (includes first mole)
• £20 – per additional mole

A update to the new booking and cancellation policy 📆

Moving forward, ALL clients will be required to have a valid debit/credit card securely held on file. This is not something I wanted to enforce, however due to a recent increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows, I’ve had no choice, Last month alone resulted in over £300 in lost appointments, which is a significant impact on my small business.

‼️Please bring a card to your next appointment so it can be added securely to your client file. No charges will ever be taken unless in the case of a no-show or late cancellation.‼️

Cancellation Policy Update:
• Cancellations have now changed & will now be charged at 50% of the treatment cost

Consultations & Patch Tests:
• A non-refundable £20 booking fee will now be required to reserve your appt
• This will be redeemable against treatment if you proceed

I want to be transparent that I put a HUGE amount of care, time, and energy into this business. Alongside this, I work around childcare commitments where my MIL & dad give up a lot of their spare time , as well as paying childcare fees to be able to work.
My working days are carefully structured, and appointments are often booked 6–10 weeks in advance, meaning cancellations directly prevent other clients from accessing those spaces.

I know cancellations happen last min & If you are able to reschedule within 24 hours & I have space, the cancellation fee will be waived wherever possible.

These changes will come into effect from today and will also apply moving forward with the introduction of new laser treatments over the coming months.
