𝔻𝕚𝕕 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕜𝕟𝕠𝕨? That NOT using your Cuticle Oil is the same as not using Conditioner on your hair? Both Nails and Hair are made up on the same protein cells called Keratin and both have a cuticle! And exactly the same as Hair, Nails DO NOT BREATHE. Both are Non Living when they come out of the Cuticle. So just like you Condition your hair to improve its appearance and keep it healthy you should be doing exactly the same to your nails with Cuticle Oil. 1. Are you using your cuticle oil? 😬 This is a biggie, dehydrated nails crack, peel, and shrink away from the product. Think of it as a leaf, when hydrated it's strong and looking it's best and when dry it crumples up. This is what it happening to your nails when you aren't oiling. 2. How long did you go between appointments? If you wait too long between appointments, the nails grow out too far and become unbalanced. This affects the integrity of your nails. An apex grown out too far means the nails will start to bend and flex in the wrong places. 3. Were you distracted during your appointment? If you aren't placing your hand in the lamp correctly or taking it out early, this can cause the gel to not cure properly, which will most likely cause them to be soft and peel. Hands need to be in the lamp until told to remove and on the desk at all times to protect the prep and finish. 4. Are we still biting those nails and cuticles? 👀 putting nails in your mouth cause so many lifting issues. 5. Is this the appropriate shape and length for my lifestyle? This is the main reason for nail breaks and cracks, especially if you have a hands-on lifestyle. Hi,
Just to let you know that after much thought I have decided to have a price increase for Gel Manicures & Pedicures with effect from next week Monday 13th JANUARY 2025.
I will then be charging £35.00 for a full gel manicure or pedicure inc removal of previous product.
I haven’t had a price increase since 2018 so I hope this won't affect your custom as I look forward to seeing each & every one of you at your appointments.
