Really, what's the BIG difference between them!?! And why should you care?

Most technicians trained in plasma are not actually performing authentic plasma! And most don't even realize it!

How can that be?

🔹 First, let's talk about what you SHOULD expect from plasma ✔️
Plasma smells like ozone NOT burning skin

🔹 Plasma should leave WHITE dots with tiny carbon crusts inside and NOT black superficial scabs.

🔹 Authentic Plasma is violet/purple in color not white.

🔹 Plasma doesn't actually burn the skin so the recovery process is far less dramatic and can be used on higher Fitzpatrick skin types (up to a light Fitzpatrick V with a proper patch test).

❓ How does true plasma technology really work?

True plasma plows through the dead epidermal cells and sublimates the cells which still contains some cytoplasm, it then barely hits the epidermal junction to stimulate collagen growth in the skin while electric pens may actually cause shock protein instead of collagen to form.

The carbon crusts left by true plasma pens will emerge on your client's skin within 24 to 48 hours. Again, these are not superficial scabs, like electric pens leave behind.

Your clients will actually feel this plasma inside of their skin, not on top. With proper numbing, it is not painful and there should be NO bleeding!

Can you see results with electric pens? sure, the Plaxel used to be electric until September 2019 when this new technology was released and after seeing the difference between the two, it's obvious that true plasma pens are superior to electric in every way!

❓ What are the pitfalls of electric pens?

Electric pens are prone to cause more scarring, pigmentation and healing is much slower, it is easier to make mistakes and cause bleeding, especially when used by an inexperienced technician.
Additionally, i found that electric pens require more treatments to achieve a similar result to what you can achieve with a true plasma pen.

With all that said i found clients are not aware of the difference and the possible risks of the use of electric pens -Plaxel the only true plasma new technology's offers improved results and let's face it, nobody wants to walk around with black dots on their face so the reduced recovery times are always appreciated!
