Motherhood changes many things including how we see ourselves. Somewhere between caring for everyone else, routines, and responsibilities, many moms quietly begin rebuilding who they are becoming.

Let's Clarify; identity goals aren’t just about what you want to achieve but they’re about who you want to become.

So tell me… what identity goal are you working on right now? 👇

🟡 Becoming a healthier mom
🟡 Becoming more patient
🟡 Becoming more confident
🟡 Becoming financially stronger
🟡 Becoming more present
🟡 Other (tell us below)

Gentle reminder; You’re not just raising children… you’re also raising a new version of yourself. ❤️

Nobody warned me that motherhood could make me look in the mirror and miss myself😭😭.
How are mothers expected to "bounce back"… while still healing physically, mentally, and emotionally?

Because every scroll says:
"Snap back."
"Get your body back."
"Look like yourself again."
Meanwhile many mums are quietly grieving:
their confidence, identity, and the body they once knew.

Maybe your postpartum body isn't the problem sef🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️.
Infact the problem all began when the world chose to celebrate only woman who are sacrificing everything but still pressures them to erase every sign of it.

Well, healing started for me when I stopped fighting my body and started working with it.

Real talk, mums ❤️
What was harder postpartum: the physical changes or the mental battle? 👇

You think you’re “not doing enough”…
But you’re already operating at a level most jobs can’t handle.

So why does motherhood feel invisible…
when it requires so much skill?

Because you call it “just being a mum”
But look closer:
✔️You’re tracking patterns
✔️Managing emotions
✔️Making high-stakes decisions on no sleep

That’s not “just motherhood”…
That’s project management. Strategy. Emotional intelligence.
You’re not lacking skills, You’ve just never been shown how to use them differently.
Comment “I’ve been undervaluing myself” if this hit you…

Maybe you’re not doing enough.
Maybe that’s why things aren’t working.

🤔But let’s be honest for a second—
If you were truly lazy…why does this situation bother you so much?
Lazy people;
✔️ Don’t sit and overthink their progress.
✔️They don’t feel frustrated that life isn’t moving.
✔️They don’t keep asking, “why am I not where I want to be?”
You do.
You’ve been trying.
You’ve been showing up in your own way.
It just doesn’t look like progress right now.
So you call it laziness.

💥But maybe the truth is harder to admit:
What you’re doing isn’t working where you are.
You’re putting effort into spaces that don’t stretch you.
You’re waiting for recognition from people who don’t understand your level.
Anyone would feel stuck in that position.
👉🏾So no… you’re probably not lazy.
You’re just tired of trying in the wrong environment.
At some point, it’s not about doing more.
It’s about changing where you’re doing it.
