I’m very much a sertraline girly who loves the sun but absolutely hates being hot. I want to be outside, in the park, on my little picnic blanket crafting away but I can’t stand overheating.

Here are a few things currently helping me survive this very intense week:

Cool baths. Always and forever my true love, always but I a little extra love for them in hot weather when you can run it cooler and just submerge in. A handful of Forest Moss salts if I want something really fresh and cooling - eucalyptus-heavy, almost like dipping into a cold spring. Or Amethyst & Magnesium if my brain feels fizzy and overstimulated from the heat.

Release Pulse Oil. I keep reaching for this one at the moment. Peppermint, lavender and lapis. I’ll roll it onto the soles of my feet before bed or keep it in my bag for a midday reset when everything starts feeling a bit much.

For stuffy nights - Moonstone Sleep Spray. Keep the curtains closed all day, windows shut whilst it’s hotter outside, then open everything up in the evening when the temperature drops a bit. Fresh bedding, sleep spray, fan directly pointed at me like a Victorian woman with a fever.

Lean into the warmth a bit too. August Nectar genuinely feels made for this weather - warm, juicy, slightly golden. Every single time I wear it in summer someone asks me what fragrance I’m wearing.

Sun tea! TCM people look away - I know iced drinks aren’t the best thing for cooling the body down but it’s very much my thing. Pop loose leaf tea into a glass jar of water and leave it in the sun to slowly infuse, then chill in the fridge and pour over ice with lemon. I adore this with the Oriental Beauty Oolong.

Also so much can be said for the little tips that can bring a lot of joy - like putting your jewellery in the fridge for a few hours before putting it on, or just rinsing your wrists and feet in cold water.

Also don’t underestimate how much the heat can affect your brain and energy levels - be extra kind to yourself.

Stay cool out there 🌞

The next Adorned drop lands tomorrow at 7pm - TOKEN 🍀

Something a little different for this weeks edit. A few of you may have previewed these at the latest Salad Days market and I’ve had a lot of messages asking when these will go live, so I’m delighted to share them with you!

Sterling silver charms, mixed stone combinations, weightier heirloom pieces and a handful of treasure mix necklaces made from completely varied bead selections and found combinations.

There are horses, clovers and winged hearts throughout, alongside softer heirloom strands in flower amazonite, green opal and tiger eye. A few of the treasure mix pieces feel almost like collected objects strung together - lots of mixed stones, warmer tones, pearl, jasper, quartz and little unexpected details.

Everything is hand-strung and finished with sterling silver findings. All pieces are one of a kind and now live on the site.

Thank you, as always, for adoring these pieces as much as I do creating them.

HELIOS 🌞

Feels slightly strange talking about a turmeric latte blend whilst we’re creeping towards having actual warm weather in the UK, but I’ve been reaching for this blend a lot lately.

A golden turmeric blend that actually tastes good - cosy enough to want every day and not something overly bitter or intense.

It’s a blend of turmeric, coconut milk, triphala, liquorice, ginger and cinnamon, with marigold petals running through it. Earthy, warming and naturally creamy once blended through milk.

Usually I’ll have it hot, but over the past week I’ve been making it iced in the mornings and it’s very good that way too. Especially on slower starts to the day where I want something a bit grounding but still light enough for warmer weather.

Also really nice added into oats or smoothies.

Named after the Greek god of the sun because it just feels warm, bright and energising 🌼🌞

Available now via our online store.

A little tea PSA because I realised I’m down to my final few pouches of some of the loose leaf teas.

Honestly, these are ones I brought in because I really love them, but they never quite connected in the same way as some of the other blends within the range. Ive always said I’m a very selfish maker - and tend to just share and make the things I love but sometimes I forget my own taste leans a bit niche - although I do stand by that these are just the very best teas I’ve tasted!

So I’ll probably discontinue some of these for now and maybe revisit them another time in the future. But if you’ve been curious, now is definitely the moment because they’re all genuinely very good quality teas at a really good price point for what they are.

Oriental Beauty Oolong - FINAL POUCH
My personal favourite. A Taiwanese oolong with this beautifully floral, smooth quality to it that somehow feels both cosy and fresh at the same time. Naturally low in caffeine and one of those teas I’ll happily drink morning or evening.

Pouchong Oolong - LAST POUCH
Another one I absolutely love. Somewhere between a green tea and an oolong, so it has this lighter, softer feel that’s really good if you’re newer to loose leaf tea or don’t want something too intense.

Genmaicha / Popcorn Tea
Possibly the tea I recommend most to people who think they don’t like green tea. It has toasted rice through it, which gives it this warm, nutty flavour that feels very comforting and easy to drink.

Somnus Herbal Infusion - THREE POUCHES LEFT
This one I’m still undecided on. It may disappear for a little while whilst I rethink where it sits, or potentially bring it under the Inner Blends range in the future.

It’s a caffeine-free evening blend with chamomile, linden flowers, hyssop and skullcap - softly floral and slightly sweet. One I reach for when I want the evening to properly slow down a bit.

All of them can be brewed multiple times too, which I always think makes loose leaf tea feel extra special.

Anyway - just wanted to give a little heads up before they quietly disappear from the website. Now’s your chance ☕️
