Happy Women’s Day 🤍

Feeling so lucky to be surrounded by so many incredible women in my life. From my mum, sister, aunties, cousins who have always been more like sisters, my soon-to-be sister-in-law and mother-in-law, and my amazing friends I’m constantly inspired by the strength, kindness and support around me.

The last photo is where it all began, my two grandmothers 🥹 Two very special women who started the line of strong women in my family and who shaped so much of who we are today.

And to a few other wonderful women in my life who aren’t in these photos but are just as important 🫶✨

So grateful for every single one of you.

This year is reminding me of that more than ever.
Life feels even more precious, and I’m so grateful for the people I get to share it with.

& so many more special weddings to celebrate this year 💒

Right now I’m focusing on:
10k steps daily.
Still reading, even if it’s just a few pages most nights.
Being intentional.
Balance ✨ wholesome as well as active.
Moving my body because I’m lucky enough to and learning to listen when it needs rest.
Working out in ways I enjoy.
Spending quality time with my family and friends.
Taking on new tasks in my role at work.
Running and cooking 👀 two things I don’t naturally love or am good at, but I’m working on it 😂

Grateful is an understatement.

Life is hard. It always will be. But if you only look for the negatives, that’s all you’ll ever see. You have to look for the positives too.

“Being positive doesn’t mean you don’t ever have negative thoughts. It just means you don’t let those thoughts control your life.”

I still have days where I complain about my body or my skin. I still lack confidence in the areas I feel insecure about sometimes. I am human. We all have insecurities.

I’m starting to learn to let go of obsessing over these things and focus on training because I genuinely enjoy it, and I’ve never felt more confident 💪 Moving in a way that’s healthy and sustainable, and being kinder to myself, especially when intrusive thoughts creep in.

I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do with this page yet, but it will still include makeup. I think I’ll realign it to reflect me as I am right now… not the 18/19 year old girl I was when I started it (over 11 years ago is wild 🤯).

Here’s to the next chapter… let’s see where it takes me 🌿

Life. What an absolute privilege 💫

It’s been a minute since I posted on here ✨
I’ve taken some time away from this space, but it’s been for the most beautiful reasons. Life has been full of love, milestones, and moments I’ll never forget - let’s catch up ☕️ 💌

Some highlights from the past few months:
👶 Two of my closest friends welcomed the most gorgeous, healthy babies 💕
💐 I watched my sister get married as her Maid of Honour - such a special day 🤍
🏃‍♀️I ran my first 5k in 28 mins 33 secs (goal was 30 mins)🥵
✈️ I went to Positano along the Amalfi Coast in Italy with my boyfriend - the dreamiest trip of my life 🇮🇹
🛥️ We then went on the best boat trip ever, on the Amalfi Coast… and then got engaged that evening 💍 The most perfect day - and that was before the ring!! 🫶
💒 I’m now in the middle of planning my own destination wedding for next year with my boyfriend 🏝️ (fiancé still feels too strange and mature 😅) and soaking up every second of this chapter 💫
🌞 At the end of last month me and Oran had the most relaxing holiday in Marmaris, Turkey - finally a trip to just switch off, get back into reading and recharge 🔋

& now I’M BACK - into my routine, but better. Recharged, ready and finding my rhythm again:
🌅 Being consistent with my morning meditation & journaling
💪 Working out and trying different kinds of movement
🚶‍♀️ Getting my steps in
🥗 Eating well to fuel my body
📚 Reading more and being more present
🧘‍♀️ Getting back into my Level 3 yoga course
& hopefully making more time to be creative and film content again 🎨
