SUMMARY

Role:

To help a lively and ambitious individual to be independent, carry out personal care, maintain a clean home, access the community and keep his cat.

The Employer does not require medical knowledge, but the right candidate should enjoy working with people, be comfortable with providing personal care and want to help a busy, successful person to live an independent life.

Rate of Pay: £10.85 per hour. You will be given a contract of employment and associated benefits, including paid holiday and sick pay to encourage long term engagement. The employer will provide an induction and training on the job.

Working Hours: Flexible hours per week across morning, afternoon, evening and night shifts from Monday to Sunday, in accordance with the staff rota agreed with your employer and co-workers. The times are usually predictable, but flexibility is important.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. To respect the Employer’s privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times regarding his personal life, home and documents relating to his work;

2. To be a strong communicator in the English language;

3. To follow instruction and take the initiative;

4. To be trustworthy, caring, reliable and have a good sense of humour;

5. To have excellent personal grooming and a smart appearance;

6. To arrive for shifts on time;

7. To cook meals from scratch.

8. To keep a clean home;

9. To complete tasks with reasonable haste, without rushing or hurting the Employer; and

10.To have an enhanced DBS check.
