February ➝ March Style: the art of the in-between
February is all about layers that mean business. Think sharp tailoring softened with knits, coats worn open like a power move, and boots that say “I’m cold but fashionable.” This is the month of texture—wool, leather, cashmere—where neutrals rule and silhouettes do the heavy lifting.
Then March tiptoes in with optimism. Lighter fabrics, looser shapes, and that first hint of colour. Trench coats replace heavy outerwear, scarves become styling accessories rather than survival tools, and sunglasses finally make sense again. A crisp shirt under a knit, denim paired with tailoring, ballet flats flirting with bare ankles—it’s all about balance.
The secret to dressing for February and March? Versatility. Pieces that layer, transition, and adapt to unpredictable weather and moods. Dress like spring is coming, but keep winter on standby.
Because this season isn’t about reinventing your wardrobe—it’s about styling it smarter.

Pitti Uomo is where men’s style speaks before you do.
Florence becomes a runway of real people — effortless tailoring, sharp silhouettes, playful textures, and confidence worn like a second skin.
It’s not about trends screaming for attention, but about men who know their style: double-breasted suits softened with loafers, statement coats over relaxed knits, colour used with intention, and details that tell a story.
Pitti reminds us that true menswear elegance lives in balance — tradition with attitude, polish with personality.
A masterclass in how dressing well is less about rules and more about self-assurance.
Men in their element. Style at its peak.

Barrel jeans 👖
They’re that girl right now.
Barrel jeans have a curved, rounded leg—fitted at the waist and hips, ballooning slightly through the thigh, then tapering back in at the ankle. Think sculptural, relaxed, and very fashion-forward.
Why people love them:
• Flattering on many body types
• Comfy but still polished
• Instantly elevate a simple outfit
• Give that “effortlessly styled” vibe
How to style them:
Top: Keep it fitted or structured (ribbed tank, bodysuit, crisp shirt, cropped knit)
Shoes: Ballet flats, loafers, trainers, ankle boots, or a pointed heel
Outerwear: Cropped jacket, blazer, or trench to balance proportions
Pro tip:
High-waisted barrel jeans are the most flattering—show the waist, let the shape do the talking.
Personal shopping is such a powerful way to support a client as she steps into the new year with intention, confidence, and clarity, and taking her shopping becomes so much more than simply buying clothes.
It’s about understanding her lifestyle, body, personality, and goals, then translating all of that into a wardrobe that feels elevated, cohesive, and true to who she is becoming.
As we move through the shops together, each piece is chosen thoughtfully, with purpose rather than impulse, ensuring everything works seamlessly with what she already owns while gently stretching her style in an exciting yet wearable way.
This experience aligns beautifully with her new year resolutions, helping her let go of old habits, outdated pieces, and “nothing to wear” moments, and replacing them with outfits that make her feel confident, polished, and empowered every single day.
Personal shopping creates space for reflection and reinvention, allowing her to invest in herself, save time and money in the long run, and start the year feeling refreshed, elevated, and ready to show up as her best self.
A car coat is the perfect everyday layer — smart yet relaxed, lightweight but warm. It adds instant polish to any outfit, works effortlessly from day to night, and is easy to throw on without feeling bulky.
Everyone should own a Car Coat
My all-time favourite style icon.

As a personal stylist, one of the most common things I hear around Christmas is:
“I was saving this outfit… but my body has changed.”
And honestly? That’s normal.
Bodies change. Seasons change. Life changes. What shouldn’t change is your right to feel good in your clothes — especially during moments that are meant to be enjoyed, not endured.
I always say this to my clients: clothes are meant to fit you, not the other way around.
Whether you’ve gained weight, lost weight, or your body just feels different this year, it’s not a styling problem — it’s a styling opportunity.
That “best” outfit you’ve been saving?
It doesn’t need to wait for a future version of you.
If it’s a little snug, we soften the silhouette, layer strategically, adjust proportions.
If it’s loose, we define the waist, play with structure, lean into effortless elegance.
And if it no longer serves you at all, we thank it and choose something that does.
A good outfit should support you — not remind you of old expectations.
This Christmas, I encourage you to dress for the body you have today. Choose pieces that allow you to eat, move, laugh, sit comfortably, and feel confident walking into the room. That’s real style.
Your best outfit isn’t the one you’re saving.
It’s the one that makes you feel like yourself — right now.

Let me tell you something I learned the hard way…
Every Christmas I used to smile, say “thank you,” and accept gifts I knew deep down I would never use. You know the type—the jumper that isn’t your style, the perfume that isn’t your scent, the random gadget that ends up collecting dust by February. I’d convince myself it was “fine,” even though it wasn’t.
But here’s the truth: accepting unwanted gifts doesn’t make you polite—it just leaves you with clutter, guilt, and the awkward task of hiding or returning things you never asked for. And the funniest part? The people giving the gifts usually want to get it right. They want to make you happy, they just need a little help.
So this Christmas, do yourself a favour: don’t repeat the same mistakes.
If you know someone is planning to buy you a present—especially someone who doesn’t quite know your taste, or it’s their first time gifting you—don’t be shy. Show them what you actually love. Share a link, send a photo, drop a hint, make a little wishlist. Trust me, they’ll probably prefer the guidance. It makes their life easier and saves you from the stress of returns, exchanges, or letting things sit unused.
Christmas should feel joyful, not complicated.
So choose honesty, choose clarity, and choose gifts that truly bring you joy.
