This post will help you understand why tweezer isn’t picking up volumes any more...

Russian volume technique require constant practise and it takes time to perfect the technique. To make your job easier it is very important to work with best quality materials ( “Perfect Fan” webinar covers all tips about how to craft fans easy )
But even if you bought good quality tweezer it doesn’t mean it will always pick up the fans 🤯 WHY? Because we didn’t look after the tweezer well and without realising we have destroyed the precision and sharpness of the tweezer...

We must take care of our tools and here’s a few common mistakes why your tweezer night not be working anymore:
✖️ tweezer cleaned incorrectly ( scratch their tweezers, on on another to try get rid of glue)
✖️dropped tweezer on the floor
✖️ using the same tweezer to clean the lash palette and scratch off the residue from the lash strip
✖️ tweezer has glue on the inside

Here’s what you should do to keep your tweezer working for you as long as possible! :
✔️Clean tweezers using “debonder” / “tweezer cleaner” - this is not disinfection, this is to her rid of glue on the tweezer
✔️ only use your tweezer to make fans! Don’t use the tweezer for anything else. Do not tap the tweezer on the palette of trying to get rid of the fan. Use your hand instead to remove lashes from the tweezer.
✔️Be careful if you’re using heat steriliser that’s has glass beads, with time it can scratch the inside of your tweezer.
Tweezers are very fragile and even a little wrong movement can ruin the precision of it and it will stop picking up fans!

Lashes for me is more than just a job! And I’m so happy to be back to work 😍
The first time I sat down to do lashes, I have to say it felt weird! I was feeling like a beginner. But that feeling only lasted for about 30 minutes and I very quickly got into it.
After 5 months off that is probably very normal, isn’t it?
I thought I would be slow as a 🐢 but that never happened! The skill of making volume fans stayed 😁 the hardest was actually isolating the natural lashes. Probably it’s because I made tons of fans during the lockdown but didn’t touch any natural lashes 🤓
How was your experience with your first client after the lockdown?
