Today we celebrate International Women’s Day — a day born from courage, resilience, and the voices of women who stood up for dignity, equality, and opportunity.
But beyond the history of this day, we are reminded of something even more powerful: the responsibility we each carry to become the best version of ourselves, every single day.
Being a woman is not only about strength or beauty. It is about compassion, empathy, and lifting each other up. It is about the quiet support, the genuine care, the shared wisdom, and the communities we build together.
We become what we nurture.
We attract what we embody.
When women come together with shared values — respect, kindness, courage, and authenticity — we create spaces where everyone can grow, feel seen, and feel supported.
Look around. Among us are incredible women whose care is real, whose presence matters, and whose hearts make this community special.
So today, let’s celebrate not only who we are, but who we are becoming.
Let’s continue to inspire, support, and empower one another.
Because together, we are powerful.
Together, we are resilient.
And together, we make every day meaningful.
✨ Happy Women’s Day to all the extraordinary women here. You are seen. You are valued. You are truly special.

✨ Your future smile depends on your daily routine ✨
Healthy teeth don’t happen by chance.
They happen by commitment.
🪥 Brush properly twice a day
🧵 Floss every day
🦷 Don’t skip your 6-month check-up
Pay attention to small changes:
⚠️ Bleeding when brushing
⚠️ Sensitivity to cold or sweets
⚠️ Rough or dull enamel
⚠️ Bad breath
⚠️ Gum recession
Small signs today can become big treatments tomorrow.
Prevention is easier.
Prevention is safer.
Prevention is smarter.
Take care of your smile — it reflects your health and your confidence.
Every parent knows this moment:
“Time for a shower.”
“Time to brush your teeth.”
And the answer is… no.
Resistance is normal. Children don’t avoid hygiene because they’re lazy — they avoid it because they don’t yet understand long-term consequences. They live in the present. So our job is to make care simple, positive, and consistent.
Motivation in children is not built with lectures.
It’s built with routine, example, and engagement.
Start with modelling (your actions speak louder than instructions)
Children copy what they see, not what they hear.
If you say “Brush your teeth” but they notice you skip it, they immediately think:
“Why should I do something my parent doesn’t do?”
You are their mirror.
Brush together.
Shower regularly.
Make self-care visible.
When hygiene is normal for you, it becomes normal for them.
Make it a routine, not a negotiation
Avoid asking:
“Do you want to brush your teeth?”
Instead, make it automatic:
“After dinner → brush → pyjamas → bedtime.”
When something happens at the same time every day, the brain stops arguing. It simply follows the sequence.
Routine reduces stress for both parents and children.
Turn care into a game
Children respond better to fun than pressure.
Try:
• Sticker or point charts
• “Two-minute toothbrushing challenge” with a timer or song
• Let them choose their toothbrush or toothpaste flavour
• Brush together like a “team mission”
• Small weekly rewards for consistency
Make it playful, not a punishment.
Connect hygiene with identity
Instead of saying:
• “Brush your teeth or you’ll get cavities”
Say:
• “We take care of our smiles”
• “Healthy teeth make you strong and confident”
• “This is how we protect our body”
Children are proud when they feel responsible.
Guide, don’t control
Children are intelligent. They observe everything.
Parenting is not only about telling them what to do — it’s about guiding behaviour with patience and example.
You are shaping habits that will last a lifetime.
And remember:
One day they won’t need you to remind them anymore.
But the routine you build today will protect their health, confidence, and smile forever.
Today I want to talk about early orthopaedic (growth-guided) treatment and how it can prevent malocclusions and, in many cases, avoid future surgeries.
Too often, orthodontic care is delayed until all permanent teeth erupt.
But when we wait, we may miss the most important window — growth.
During childhood, the bones are still adaptable.
This is the ideal time to guide jaw development, correct functional problems, and intercept small discrepancies before they become complex skeletal issues.
Early assessment allows us to:
• classify occlusion and monitor growth patterns
• correct single-tooth or posterior crossbites early
• manage developing crowding
• guide maxillary expansion when needed
• address oral habits and muscle imbalance
• educate families about posture and functional behaviours
Even simple daily habits matter.
How a child breathes, swallows, or even sits while watching TV — such as constantly supporting the face with one hand — can influence facial symmetry and jaw development over time.
Orthopaedic treatment in childhood is not about placing full braces early.
It’s about guidance, small adjustments, and prevention.
A child should be in contact with an orthodontist early, so we can act while growth is on our side — not after problems are established.
Because when we guide growth early, we often reduce the need for extractions, complex mechanics, or surgery later.
Prevention is always simpler than correction.
Merry Christmas to you, and to your family and friends.
This is a time to pray and renew our faith in God and in humanity. I wish you all peace.
Christmas is a special time to dedicate to one another. During the year, we often miss these moments—let us not miss them now. It is time to express how much we care and how important each person is in our lives.
I am grateful for everyone I met this year and for all the lessons learned—some were difficult to overcome, and others brought me hope.
Enjoy this time, and look around. See how important it is to notice both familiar and unfamiliar faces, and to do something—however small—that can make someone’s life better, even if only for a moment.
