Before and after golden hi-lites. Choosing the correct tones to suite the clients complexion is important.

This lady was a new client to our salon.

Initially the client was requesting a quote for hi-lites and a bob hairstyle but after consultation and consideration the client opted for what was considered by us to be the best approach.

Hi-lites were not seen as the best option as there was such a tiny root, the previous salon's work resulted in a multitude of colours that being brown roots ginger areas where previous colouring had not lifted enough and gold/ white bleached hair. The hair was also quite damaged and brittle.

All options & choices were proposed before the client decided to follow our advice regarding the length of the style along with what we considered to be the best colour to suite her personality and complexion.

The photos show the process before, pre colour & final look. When choosing a colour processes must be followed to ensure the optimum result. First the client needed pigmentation to be added hence the very bright colour before the final tint was applied.

Colour upon colour goes darker therefore it was important to achieve the correct depth to show the different tones rather than having a solid flat colour.

At long last the salon signage has been replaced.

This November will mark 38 years since the salon was established in Halfway Street.

This lady is a regular client of the salon of over 10 years.

We have maintained the colour and style throughout the years adjusting the tone, maintaining the shape and achieving optimum condition using the best quality professional hair dye and products available.

The client has naturally brown hair which was Hi- lighted by a previous salon. Before becoming a loyal client of KUTTING KREW (See earlier post) The client sought advice regarding a complete makeover colour and shape without losing too much length.
After consultation a colour was chosen which would compliment the clients natural skin tone.

The client has been so happy with the results that she has requested the same style albeit with a slightly richer tone.

A new client visited the salon looking for a new look.
Following consultation with the Client it was agreed to try a new colour and style which would be more flattering.

I felt the client needed a warmer tone to the colour but without committing her to the necessity of root touch up every month. The hair was lacking in pigmentation and needed to be harmonised so I chose a mix of 8.3. and base 8 Diacolour which is the perfect choice for adding warmth and complimenting the clients skin tone.

Regarding the shape.. It was a shape that was chic cropped but retaining a feminine look at the same time and enhancing the clients cheekbones and face shape.
