1. Classic Pound Cake

Ingredients
• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a loaf pan.
2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
4. Add flour gradually, alternating with milk.
5. Stir in vanilla.
6. Pour into pan and bake for 50–60 minutes.

Ingredients

Instructions

Homemade Butter (Rich, Fresh & Easy)

Ingredients
• 2 cups heavy cream (480ml) (very important: use full-fat cream)
• ½ teaspoon salt (optional, 3g)

Instructions

Pour the heavy cream into a bowl or jar.

Start whisking with a mixer, hand whisk, or shake in a tightly closed jar. First, it becomes whipped cream… keep going.

After a few minutes, it will start to look grainy and separate into butter and liquid (buttermilk).

Strain out the buttermilk (you can save it for baking).

Rinse the butter with cold water while pressing it with a spoon or spatula to remove excess liquid. This helps it last longer.

Add salt if desired and mix well.

Shape and store in the fridge.

Pro Tips
• The colder the water used for rinsing, the better your butter texture
• Don’t stop at whipped cream stage—keep mixing until it separates
• You can flavor it with garlic, honey, or herbs
