Sheree's Body & Locks
A #DIY enthusiast trying to be as natural as possible. Embrace nature, embrace purity, embrace management
Some journeys don’t announce themselves with trumpets… they begin with tears in the shower drain.
After going through telogen effluvium, seeing my hair shed in ways that felt unfamiliar and honestly heartbreaking, I had moments where I wondered if my hair would ever feel like mine again.
But healing has a language.
Patience.
Consistency.
Listening to what your hair needs.
For me, returning to the basics has made such a difference, especially using the LCO method (Liquid, Cream, Oil) to help my strands stay moisturised, protected, and supported as they recover.
And today? I can finally say… progress is happening. 🥹✨
My hair is gradually looking fuller.
My strands feel stronger.
Hope is growing right alongside my roots.
If you’re dealing with shedding, post-stress hair loss, surgery-related hair changes, hormonal shifts, or telogen effluvium, please know this: recovery may feel slow, but slow does not mean impossible.
This is your reminder that setbacks are chapters… not the whole story. 🌱💚
Have you ever experienced unexpected hair shedding? Let’s talk in the comments.
There was a time I touched my hair and felt sadness… the thinning, the fragility, the silent evidence of everything my body had endured.
Major surgeries. Blood loss. Grief. Stress. Healing.
Today, I touched my hair again… and I smiled.
My strands feel stronger. Fuller. More resilient.
This journey has reminded me that healing is not always loud. Sometimes it whispers through better sleep, renewed energy, calmer emotions… and yes, stronger hair strands.
Protective styling, nourishing my body from within, rest, magnesium, healthy fats, seeds, patience, and grace… the small things are adding up.
My hair was never the enemy. It was simply telling the story of what my body had been through.
And now… it’s telling a new story.
Healing. 🌿🤎
This is my then and now its fuller now I 🤔think! Not necessarily longer, but surely fuller.
