If you could have worked this out on your own, you would have by now. That’s not a criticism. It’s a clue.
Sam couldn’t see what else he’d do. Six months later he had three offers and turned two down. The problem was never the market.
What people undervalue about themselves is almost always what comes most naturally to them.
That’s usually their Superpower.
I spent three years trying to change career and got nowhere. Here’s what I was doing wrong the whole time.
You don’t need to know what you want to do before you start.
Because working that out is the starting point.
It’s what my process is designed to solve.
And your answer is always then when you get the process and the right support.
Save this if you needed to hear it.
You’re brilliant at your job. You’ve just stopped caring about it.
That’s an alignment problem. And it has a specific answer.

If you’ve been trying to work out your career change for months and you’re more confused than when you started — this is exactly why.
You’re starting in the wrong place. And fixing that changes everything.
Save this. It’s the framework that makes the difference.
Your CV proves you’re good at your job. It says nothing about what you’re actually brilliant at.

A career change is not about a job.
If it was you would have found that job by now.
Because you've certainly been looking for what it might be...
LinkedIn, recruiters, ChatGPT.
Maybe even a coach.
But all that's done is help you get clearer on what you don't want than on what you do.
That's not a failure of effort.
There's been plenty of that.
It's just you've been applying the standard approach to the problem.
And the standard approach doesn't work.
Because a job search looks outwards.
At jobs, companies, sectors.
What people tend to do next.
What jobs might match your skills.
What the growth jobs are in the market.
But the answer to the question isn't somewhere out there.
It's inside, in you.
After several decades of building a career based on what you're good at, most people have genuinely lost track of who they are underneath that.
What drives them.
What they're naturally brilliant at, not just trained to do.
What they actually want their life to look like.
That's the missing foundation.
And without it no amount of looking outwards will give you the answer.
The question isn't 'what job should I do next?'.
It's 'who am I now and what would actually be aligned with that?'.
It's a different starting point.
And it changes everything.
