One of my first headpiece designs, all those years ago was a hairband with hand cut felt butterflies - I'm still looking for a photo. After years of experimenting, here is the warm weather version. Straw base, leather butterflies.
Can be made in other colours.

An elegant straw headpiece in a dark cream / tan shade with a pleated crin decoration in ivory and cream. Placed on the top back of this small hat, the pleated crin gives a ‘wow effect’ without making this headpiece too heavy.

Golden olive fur felt and plum wool felt.

I wore the golden olive on Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New year). It was a showstopper - a few weeks on and I'm still getting comments.
I can do different trims too - a few variations of bows, veiling, flowers etc - pictures coming soon.

Summer may not be over, but my orders are quickly changing to winter. One of the final summer orders and a quick tidy up of the atelier as we settle into winter mode.
