A great article by Chris Kresser discussing the potential dangers of mobile phone radiation.
In case you don’t have time to read it, in a nutshell (pardon the pun)……
Mobile phone radiation is linked to decreased s***m count, motility and viability. It may also increase the risk of brain cancer, possibly via increased oxidative stress. However, overall studies are inconclusive.
Given the fact that no one really knows how safe mobile phones are, its probably a good idea to use ear phones for long calls and to limit the amount of time your phones spends sitting next to your baby-making equipment (in your pocket). You should also increase your antioxidant intake by adopting a natural and varied diet including plenty of colourful fruits and vegetables; this of course will do wonders for your general health as well.

What 2000kcal looks like at home and in some popular "restaurants".

HC Essentials: Unexplained weight gain and fatigue? Subclinical hypothyroidism?
The thyroid gland is located in the neck and produces hormones that increase metabolic rate, produce heat and stimulate appetite.
Symptoms of an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) include:
Unexplained weight gain
Tiredness
Low mood
Constipation
Difficulty concentrating
Dry skin
Hair loss
Heavy menstrual periods
Many people experience symptoms of hypothyroidism including weight gain, despite their levels of thyroid hormones being at the low end of the normal range. While your doctor is unlikely to treat you for subclinical hypothyroidism there are numerous lifestyle and nutritional modifications that can improve thyroid function. Thyroid function is just one of the many factors addressed by The Health Concierge wellness screen.

Yet more evidence that an apple-a-day really does keep the doctor away.
Scientists from The Institute of Food Research have proposed a mechanism by which the polyphenols in apples and green tea could reduce the risk of diseases, such as heart disease and cancer.
Fresh fruits and vegetables are full of disease-preventing compounds, many of which remain undiscovered. You won’t find these in your multivitamin, which is why supplements can’t compete with a colourful, natural and varied diet.
