Hair Colour Studio in King’s Cross is a boutique independent salon specialising in natural-looking hair colour.
We are looking for an experienced Hair Stylist / Colour Specialist to join our small, friendly team. This is initially a part-time role, with a strong opportunity to grow into a full-time position.
We believe building genuine Stylist-Client relationships is essential when working in a small independent salon . This post would therefore suit a candidate that is highly motivated, positive and friendly, naturally connects with people, makes clients feel comfortable, and understands that retention is key to growing a successful column.
You will work with clients on a one-to-one service in a calm yet fun and welcoming environment.
About You
You are:
Highly experienced (minimum 5 years)
Confident in advanced colour work and corrective services
Strong in cutting and finishing
Experience in keratin treatments
Skilled in consultations and aftercare advice
Focused on client retention and long-term relationships
Comfortable working in a small team without juniors
Well-presented and professional
Naturally warm, positive, and able to build genuine connections with clients.
What We Offer:
A calm, drama-free salon environment
Flexible hours (weekend availability preferred to start)
Closed Sundays and Mondays
Competitive package for the right candidate
Potentially suitable for a freelancer
Progression from part-time to full-time.
This is a great opportunity for a stylist ready to move away from a corporate or chain environment and into a supportive, independent space.

At Hair colour Studio we pride ourselves on creating multi tonal Luxe colour - colour that is natural looking and alive. The team uses an array of techniques and brands including Wella, Olaplex, Lisap and Joico amongst others to create total bespoke results in a friendly atmosphere surrounded by a boutique 'Art-Deco Miami' inspired design.
We love to enhance natural looks whether with colour or a tailor-made hair cut, looking at one's individual style, skin tone and bone structure, for sexy yet sophisticated hair.
