Today marks 6 months of loving you, learning you, and watching you grow into your own little person š„¹š¤
It honestly feels like just yesterday I was holding a newborn⦠and now weāre already halfway to one.
Time really didnāt wait for me to catch up.
Motherhood has a way of making every little moment feel so big and so special.
Mums, how do you deal with them growing this fast? šš
Thursday started with a simple planā¦
My daughter had community helpers day at nursery, and the children were asked to dress up as someone who helps others.
So I stepped out, made a quick stop at Smyths, and found the perfect little doctor kit for her. It felt like such a simple outing, but seeing how excited she was made it so special.
Then Friday morning⦠she got dressed, held her little kit, and stepped out so confidently as a ādoctorā š„¹š¤
And in that moment, I realised these are the memories that matter.
The little efforts, the simple days, the smiles, the excitementā¦
Motherhood really is about these moments š¤āØ
Mums, do you celebrate days like this with your toddlers? š
Sharing this from my page š¤
This really made me thinkā¦
This really spoke to me⦠š¤
There are times you feel like the people closest to you should support everything you do your content, your ideas, your journey.
But Iām learning that not everyone will understand your vision, and thatās okay.
The goal isnāt to rely on familiar faces for validation⦠itās to grow, to build, and to create something meaningful that connects with the right people.
Still learning, still growing, still becoming š¤āØ
The fear of looking āstupidā stops so many of us from even trying⦠š¤
We overthink.
We hold back.
We stay in our comfort zone because weāre worried about what people might say or think.
But the truth is no great idea has ever looked ānormalā at the beginning.
Growth requires you to step out, to try, to fail, to learn⦠and to keep going anyway.
Iām reminding myself of this too to be bold enough to try, even when it feels uncomfortable.
Because thatās where growth happens š¤
Letās talk about screen time⦠š¤
As mums, we all try to do our best but letās be honest, there are days when screen time saves the day š
Some people are team no screen time, some are team āa little wonāt hurtā⦠and honestly, I think weāre all just figuring it out as we go.
For me, itās about balance but Iād love to hear from other mums.
Are you team screen time or team no screen time? And what works for you? š
