Meet Dr Robin Stones from our Wilmslow clinic 👨⚕️
Dr Stones has been involved in private aesthetic medicine for over 20 years and for over 25 years has also held NHS Dermatology appointments.
He has a specific interest in the management of acne and rosacea and is on the teaching faculty for the Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Medicine at UCLan.
He was previously awarded the Aesthetic Awards Practitioner of the Year.
Robin has held the position of Medical Director for over 10 years and is highly skilled in the advanced range of treatments he offers.

Want to get the most out of your Laser Hair Removal treatment? Here's a few tips 👇
1. Don't Miss A Treatment 📅
Laser hair removal appointments are scheduled based on the growth cycles of your hair. If you miss a treatments, you would miss an entire growth cycle. This can set you way back in your treatments and lengthen the hair removal process.
2. Avoid Tweezing Or Waxing ✍️
Since the laser burns your actual hair follicle, it is very important that this hair follicle is present. If you were to tweeze or wax any of the hairs that you are planning on removing, then the hair follicle would be removed in the process.
3. Shave the day before 🦵
Shaving makes it easier for the laser to get to your hair follicles because there is less of the hair remaining above the skin’s surface.
4. Limit your sun exposure ☀️
If your skin is burned from the sun, this can make it extra sensitive. A sunburn may also cause your skin to actually blister during the treatments.

Did you know, the effects of Fat Freezing were first discovered through ice-lollies! 🍧
Doctors noted permanent dimples had appeared in the fragile fat of children’s cheeks after consuming large quantities of ice-lollies, indicating that fat can be permanently removed from the body when subjected to isolated cold temperatures.
Of course the technique for Fat Freezing has developed a lot since this initial discovery, but the general notion behind it remains the same.
