Full moon magic, Misty and Mugwort ✨🌙
The pale little silvery Mugwort buds are forming now and this is when I love to harvest some for its healing tea, which I brew for a good while until it turns into a dark emerald green.
This magical herb is associated with dreaming, divination, and protection and is often hailed The Mother of herbs 🌿
Mugwort ~ Artemisia vulgaris is named after the moon goddess Artemis and is often used when working with the lunar phases. It grows so abundantly here, and can be used as a sustainable alternative for saging and cleansing spaces.
Drinking before bedtime helps to create a sense of calm and can also enhance psychic abilities, intuition and promote lucid dreaming.
Traditionally this herb has been used for female health, helping to regulate menstrual cycles and ease cramps, however not recommended during pregnancy, as it’s also uterine stimulant.
I love all her abundant gifts and can’t wait to make more botanical water with the flowers and foliage on the next full moon…
