⚜️Did you know that your HORMONES can affect the outcome of your spray tan no matter how closely your clients follow prep and no matter what solution you use? This is something that isn't talked about often... but we are going to put it allill out there for you.
Ph balance and moisture level in the skin are two key players in the outcome + longevity of a spray tan- and as many of us know (hello dry skin and break outs) the skin can be greatly affected during that 'time of the month' when estrogen levels naturally drop and rise in our bodies.
Spray tans are applied to the skin- the two are going to go hand in hand.
If a tan isn't developing to the depth that it usually does, isn't lasting as long, or just seems 'off' during this time... there is a big chance that this is likely the leading cause
•There are also times of the month that our skin is more oily, prone to sensitivity, will grab onto that tan real well, etc.
As hormones fluctuate during our cycle, our skin and ph balance shifts.
This is not always the case for everyone, and most clients may never notice a difference- but it is always something to keep in mind and just may give you an 'ah ha' moment someday in the future⚜️

We’ve got you covered! Our express tan is 20% DHA & can be washed off between 2-4 hours; obviously the longer it is left on the darker it will have developed! The less time it is left on, the colour will be less intense, but will still have left a gorgeous, natural, rich tan ✨🤎
