We’ve been busy reorganising your appointments, making sure the salon is squeaky clean, filling up our shelves again and now we’re ready to welcome you all back from tomorrow! We can’t wait to see you all again and get back to doing what we do best ✂️💜

Covid19 protocols at David Cameron Hair

At last, from Monday, 12/04/2021 we open yet again.

Our hours are as usual : Mon, Tues, Thurs 9-7 Weds, Fri, Sat 9-5 We are closed on Sunday.

If you are undertaking technical services such a colouring, please pop in for a skin test 48 hours your beforehand. There is speculation that those of us who have had COVID-19 vaccinations may be slightly more susceptible to allergic reactions from technical hairdressing services. If your uncertain please feel free to ring us.

Please make appointments using our intuitive, online booking system. Honestly it’s really good! Do use the phone if you prefer. Walk-in services are unavailable!

If you’ve been in close contact with a COVID19 sufferer, if you feel unwell or anyone in your household feels unwell including symptoms of a loss of taste and smell, a persistent dry cough, a high temperature, strong fatigue and possibly a severe headache, please on no account enter the salon. Go to our nearest center to pick up a ‘lateral flow test’. Ring NHS 111 ASAP get a tested as well. We will happily rearrange your appointment for another time

Please attract our attention before entering the salon and do not enter until we’ve indicated you can. From the outside, you can access the back of our salon where there will be some covered, outdoor, distanced waiting areas.

Transmission is much lower outside

Weather permitting, we will endeavour to carry out many of our services outdoors using our rear patio. We have a waterproof gazebo and chairs. We think it’ll be fun during the spring time. Really, it’s your call on this!

Where possible, to further minimise transmission we kindly ask you to wash your hair beforehand, but in our well aired salon while wearing the mandatory mask, shampooing and a relaxing head massage can be safely undertaken. Of course ‘in salon’ shampooing is necessary for technical services

Please contact us before you travel for your appointment so we can advise you exactly when to arrive as it won’t be possible to wait in the salon. You can wait in your car if you brought it. Avoid public transport if possible

We will require the use of the salon hand sanitiser and the wearing of a face mask before passing fully into the salon. A free mask will be provided for you if you do not have one with you

Magazines and refreshments will not be a available due to government restrictions so by all means bring your own water with you. No other beverages or soft drinks are permitted

We will be leaving our doors and windows open to further prevent transmission, so please wear layered clothing if the weather is cold

Please avoid touching anything other than the fresh tissues.

Please don’t touch retail products unless it’s the one you want to buy

Please sneeze or cough into a tissue or if not into the crock of your arm. Tissues are readily available. Please dispose of it in the used PPE salon bin. Then sanitise your hands

The floor will be marked out in yellow tape to reflect the two meter/one meter plus distancing guidelines. Please try and use it as a guide to help maintain social distancing as much as possible

We enjoy very limited customer parking, which consists of two spaces at the back of the salon and one at the front. We cannot reserve spaces.

Please bring a debit/credit card as we want to avoid handling cash or opt for direct bank transfer

Well of course it’s not our normal service , but I know we can all pull together and make the very best of it! Thank you so much for your understanding and Co-operation. Can’t wait to catch up!
