🚨🚨🌕| NEW: Atalanta’s asking price for Ederson is viewed as high given he only has one year left on his contract. Suggestions of Ederson agreeing personal terms or Manchester United submitting a bid are currently premature. []
This perspective is remarkable.

🗣️ Matheus Cunha on Champions League qualification:
“I think it’s a journey we expected. The start wasn’t easy we know how big this club is and we wanted to be here. It’s such a privilege. For all the players who come in, everyone knows Manchester United is the only option.

🚨🗣️ Rio Ferdinand on Manchester United win against Liverpool;
Listen, this is what I’m talking about! Big game, big moment, you don’t need 20 chances when all you need is just quality and United have turned up and showed just that. That wasn’t just a win, that was a fight till the end.
For years we’ve been asking where’s the character? Where’s the fight in these big games? Today we all saw it. They didn’t fold under pressure, they stayed in the game, and when the moments came they were ruthless on the counters.
When United went forward, they looked like they believed they were going to score. That confidence, that sharpness, it’s been missing at times, but today it was there.

🚨 Tim Sherwood on the importance of Kobbie Mainoo and Casemiro in Manchester United’s midfield, with United leading Liverpool 3–2:
🗣️ “That midfield balance is everything for Manchester United. Kobbie Mainoo gives you calmness, composure, he takes the ball under pressure and keeps things ticking — that’s a big quality for someone so young.
And then you’ve got Casemiro, who brings the experience, the positioning, the know-how. He reads danger before it happens and protects that back line.
When those two are working together, United look like a proper team. One controls the tempo, the other controls the space.
Without them, it becomes too open, too easy to play through. With them, there’s structure, there’s discipline, and it allows the attacking players to express themselves.
That partnership is key if United want to compete at the highest level.”

🗣️ Matheus Cunha on Michael Carrick:
“When Michael [Carrick] came in, he brought something special almost like Sir Alex Ferguson vibes. He speaks so much about building a winning team, a conquering team.
That energy spreads to us. We feel confident with the information he gives, and we stay focused on reaching our objectives.
At the end of the day, this is just the beginning a beautiful start to the journey.”

🚨 Gary Neville on who should replace Casemiro at Manchester United:
🗣️ “When you talk about replacing someone like Casemiro, you’re not just looking for a name — you’re looking for the right profile, the right mentality, and someone who can handle the pressure of playing for Manchester United.
For me, Sandro Tonali is the perfect option. He’s got the discipline, the energy, and the intelligence to control games. He can sit, he can pass, and he understands positioning at a top level.
There are other names being mentioned — players like João Neves, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Amadou Onana, and Carlos Baleba — all very good midfielders in their own right.
But Tonali just feels like the right fit. He has that balance between aggression and composure, and that’s exactly what United need in that role.
If they get that signing right, it changes the whole midfield.”

🚨🗣️ Anderson:
“It makes me SAD when I see some people talk about Carrick. He's an amazing guy, that guy is a classic guy. He needs your SUPPORT, Yes, it disappoints when people talk negatively about him.”

🚨🗣️ : “TV cameras zoomed in on Steve Holland when it became clear the formation change had been made.
“Holland worked as England's assistant manager during Southgate's tenure, and they often played with a back five at major tournaments.
“United fans have bad memories of playing with a back five due to Amorim's disastrous 14-month tenure, but the switch shored up the defence as Brentford pushed to get back into the game.
“It also showed Carrick is tactically versatile, something his predecessor certainly was not.” [MEN]
