Sounds Interactive is proud to be co-hosting an Open Drum Circle at the Loose Fete and Fun Dog Show – and you’re invited to join the rhythm!

At last month’s Pamper Day with The Wellbeing Link, I had the pleasure of sharing a little window into the world of sound & vibration therapy—gentle drum and Himalayan bowl massages, ancient rhythm journeys and the kind of deep vibrational rest that lets the body truly exhale. Vibration works on more than just a sensory level. It engages the parasympathetic nervous system, encouraging a state of deep rest and repair. Rhythmic drumming can synchronise with the body’s natural rhythms, helping regulate breath and heartbeat, while sustained tones from instruments like Himalayan bowls and the Monolina support muscle relaxation and even reduce pain perception. It’s always moving to witness people soften, sway, or simply sink into stillness as the vibration moves through them—not something just to listen to, but something to feel. A powerful reminder that wellbeing doesn’t always come from doing more, but from gently tuning in. I can’t be at the next one, but The Wellbeing Link are back with another wonderful Pamper Day on 21st June—a lovely event for anyone in need of a little care and connection. From chattering to chanting…

At The Wellbeing Link’s weekly support group in Northfleet, I walked into a room full of lively conversations, coffee-fuelled catch-ups, and brilliant energy from a wonderful older crowd.

(The Wellbeing Link is a community organisation supporting people with life-affecting health conditions with a strong focus on alleviating loneliness and isolation — offering weekly support groups, complementary therapies, and opportunities to connect, relax, and recharge.)

We began with rhythm games using our names, building playful collective beats — laughter, claps, with a few cheeky shakers and bells thrown in for good measure.

And then… silence. Stillness.

Fifteen minutes of carefully layered vibration and sound — not just heard, but felt — filled the space. You could sense the room soften, settle, and shift.

As Betty put it:
“I felt like I went on a journey… and then came back into the room.”

A brief moment of calm — but a powerful one.
