Manual Lymphatic Drainage is slow. Intentional. Direct. It is not flamboyant or vigorous. It shouldn't create erythema (redness of the skin). Because it is a gentle treatment that targets the superficial lymphatic vessels just beneath the skin.
It follows pathways, and moves the lymphatic fluid back into the system, which helps to remove swelling, bloating and puffiness.
The movement of the fluid can sometimes leave the clint needing to swollow, so I always have a fresh glass of water on hand, just in case they need a drink 🌿

I'll start by saying I absolutely do not like putting pictures of me/my body on the Internet 😞
Especially when I haven't set this 'photoshoot' up or used flattering lighting etc. I just woke up feeling 'ugh' and a little bloated and wanted to show you the benefits of lymphatic drainage.
This is a before and after pic of me this morning, no filters, no flattering lighting, just me in bed after waking up and doing a quick lymphatic drainage routine to help get things moving in the morning.
But remember, if you don't stimulate the lymphatic nodes first, there's not much point in doing a drainage routine - so be mindful who you are taking advice from on the Internet. X
