The beauty of a private cinema is that it can become whatever you want it to be.

One night, it’s a cosy movie marathon with family, hidden away from the outside world with your favourite snacks and a glass of something cold. The next, it’s friends gathering for a big sporting event, where nobody misses a moment because somebody else is blocking the screen or talking through the important bit… we’ve all been there 👀

We’ve created a space that works just as brilliantly for private presentations, content screenings, business meetings or simply taking a breather between long days in the city.

That’s the key thing.... this space was never designed to be just another “room with a TV”. It was designed to bring people together, help them switch off, celebrate, reconnect or simply enjoy time privately, comfortably and entirely on their own terms.

Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Marketing Manchester team to Hideaway Hive ahead of our launch. So it was a genuine honour to see ourselves featured in their Spring Showcase alongside so many fantastic attractions, venues, experiences and hospitality businesses from across the region.

As a new independent business, to be recognised in a collection curated by the people whose job it is to champion the very best of Greater Manchester meant a great deal to us.

Many guests choose Hideaway Hive when they want to keep their visits completely low key, and honestly, that is exactly how we like it. So whenever somebody publicly shares just how much they enjoyed their stay with us, it genuinely means the world 💫

That said, after recently visiting us for the first time, darts legend and former World No.1, better known to many as Colin “Jaws” Lloyd, was incredibly generous in openly sharing his experience... for somebody so respected within the world of sport to describe our private retreat so passionately honestly means so much to us, thank you Colin!

Creating a space where guests can properly switch off, unwind and enjoy complete privacy when they need it is exactly why Hideaway Hive was created, so feedback like this reminds us why we dared to do things differently.

During a recent visit, this guest enjoyed a powerful Reiki session with the wonderfully talented , bringing an extra layer of calm, balance and positive energy into the retreat.

By the end of the session, the whole space felt lighter, calmer and beautifully recharged… so our guests must have been floating on air afterwards ✨

We’ve really been enjoying watching the 40,000 Great Manchester Run half marathon and 10K runners streaming past our our place today 👏🏃

Now comes the traditional post-race ritual of watching it back on the telly coverage, seeing if we can spot ourselves or any friends taking part 😄

Our lucky guests today know they’ll be soaking their post-race legs in our whirlpool bath very soon. And, honestly, what better way to end your big event than with a cold one in the hot tub...!?

Hard to believe race day 2027 is still available to book though...
