Apparently, emotional blackmail doesn't work anymore. Snacks didn't work either.

The only successful negotiation involved cold, hard cash. 💸😂

Being a business owner isn't always polished or aesthetic. Sometimes it's bribing your teenager, laughing until you can't breathe, and making memories in between appointments.

She booked a Korean Lash Lift, but she left with something neither of us expected.

Before she even arrived, I had this overwhelming feeling to pull some tarot cards for her. I kept questioning whether I should mention it at all, but eventually I trusted my intuition.

As we talked through the cards, I watched her guard slowly come down. What started as a beauty appointment became a conversation I'll never forget.

Sometimes people don't walk through our doors needing another beauty treatment. Sometimes they need a safe space. A moment to pause. A moment to feel heard. A reminder that they're not carrying everything alone.

Whether you believe in tarot or not, I think we can all agree that being truly seen is incredibly powerful.

This experience reminded me why I love what I do. Yes, I create beautiful lashes, but more importantly, I hope I create a space where people feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

If someone leaves my chair feeling a little lighter, a little more hopeful, or having rediscovered a spark they thought they'd lost... then that's a privilege I'll never take for granted. 🤍

Very wholesome. Very responsible. Very we're becoming adults.
Fast forward 20 minutes and somehow we'd abandoned all dignity, found the nearest park, and were climbing, spinning and laughing like a bunch of 5-year-olds. 😂
Between the three of us we're approximately 85 years old... but mentally? About 8.
I genuinely think this is why it's so important to have your people. The friends who make a simple walk turn into an unexpected adventure. The ones who remind you that growing older doesn't mean growing up.
Sometimes the best therapy isn't a fancy spa day or a night out... it's acting completely ridiculous in a park with your favourite humans until your stomach hurts from laughing.
Adulting can wait. The swings were calling. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂
