After taking a little time away for our IVF journey, it felt so lovely to be back in the salon today. 🤍

A busy Friday, lots of chats, laughs, fresh sets of nails, and seeing so many familiar faces. Thank you to everyone who booked in and welcomed me back—it genuinely means more than you know.

There’s something so special about helping people leave feeling a little more confident, and today reminded me why I love what I do. This little salon really is my happy place. 🫶

I wanted to give all of my lovely clients a little update. 🤍

After today’s IVF monitoring scan, I’ve been told that my egg collection needs to happen this Wednesday, which means I’ll unfortunately need to rearrange some appointments over the next couple of days.

IVF is a little unpredictable. We monitor the growth of the follicles every few days, and once they’re ready, everything has to happen within a very specific timeframe. It’s not something that can be delayed for a day or two—if we miss the window, the follicles can release the eggs naturally and the opportunity for collection is lost.

As a small business owner, this is one of the hardest parts of navigating IVF. I never want to let anyone down, and cancelling appointments is something I genuinely hate doing.

To every client who’s supported me, moved appointments, checked in on me or simply shown kindness throughout this journey—thank you. You’ve made it possible for me to keep building a business while chasing the dream of becoming a mum, and I’ll never take that support for granted.

Hopefully, this week brings us one step closer to our little miracle. 🧸🍀🤍

As many of you know, my fiancé and I are currently going through IVF treatment in the hope of growing our family.

I’m so grateful to share that I’ve now started my second full round of IVF, which means over the next couple of weeks I’ll have several monitoring scans and appointments that can sometimes be booked at short notice.

Because of this, I won’t be available on:

📅 19th June
📅 22nd June
📅 24th June

I will also be travelling to Portugal from 25th June – 1st July for my egg retrieval procedure. 🥚✈️🤍

If you have an appointment booked during this time, I will be in touch if I need to rearrange anything. I’ll do my absolute best to accommodate everyone around these dates.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support. Running my little business whilst navigating IVF hasn’t always been easy, but the kindness from my clients has meant more than you’ll ever know.
