I actually copied this idea from because when I see his clients squirting water in their faces I knew it was too good not to bring to The Burrow HQ…
And it’s been it hit…
Shout out Lee for having a child like sense of humour like me and big up my clients for playing yet another silly game…
Needless to say they all paid full price…
We’ve all got a client that wants to hang onto the smoke…
It’s our jobs as stylists to make sure the clients leave with healthy, beautiful hair…
If that means telling them that their hair looks like smoke then don’t mince your words…
They’ll appreciate the honesty once they’ve got over hanging onto wispy ends…

With the salon build soon to begin we’ve been looking around for potential stylists that we’d love to join our team…
A lot of what we found were pages full of the backs of heads…
Sometimes, completely faceless pages…
Salon build aside, from a client perspective…
Yes, they need to know that you can do a good job, but equally they need to know who they’re going to be spending half a day with at the salon…
I know it can be scary putting your personality online but a faceless page is also a client repeller…
If you’re taking the time to photograph your work and post it online, you’re already halfway to turning that camera around and showing everyone who you are…
Trust me, it gets easier…

I reached out to about 4 months ago pitching her my idea to dub over other stylists consults…
I had only done a couple of dubs for people at this point but surprisingly enough she thought it would be fun for me to make fun of her over one of her consultations…
My love for these roasts is because it humanises the people we see online with large followings by having the joke on them…
9 times out of 10 the people we watch don’t have an ego to protect and are more than happy to have a laugh at their expense (done tastefully)
