On Thursday the 23rd of February i saved my mums life.
Everyone keeps saying how amazing it is that i saved her life, that i did amazing to act fast and that i should be proud. i’m grateful of everyone who thinks so highly of me i really am but in my eyes i just wish i hadn’t have had to do it. it scares me so much to know that if i hadn’t have done what i did she could and probably would have died. all i could see was her unable to breathe it was like watching her die in front of me and it was the scariest and hardest thing that i have ever been through in my life. nothing could have prepared me for this.
My mum is so strong this isn’t the first time shes nearly died. she got sepsis, by the time we caught it, it was almost too late. until Thursday that was the scariest hardest day of my life. i still wasn’t over that and im still not, every day i think about it. i make sure shes ok, no cuts no infection. i will never get over how scary it was and is.
I am so proud of my mum for being so strong and pulling through, i cannot loose her. she is my rock. without her i am nothing. she has looked after me. i have and will continue to look after her in every way possible.

I just wanted to write this to raise awareness that heart attacks can happen to anyone. please educate yourself on the symptoms so you can pick up on someone having one. my mum is only young, but if i could go back in time and change one thing it would be to have learnt cpr before now and learn the symptoms of a heart attack. this is your motivation to do the same🎗️
