Established in Arnold in 1999 we expanded the second business to a second salon on Breckhill Road, Mapperley 2007. Our aim is to create a warm relaxed environment, where our experienced team will satisfy all of your hair requirements. In recent months we have team up with AVEDA, a natural partner, whose products compliment perfectly with our creative team.

We are so excited to welcome Penny to the
A.J Richardson team as our new Advanced Stylist.
Penny has over 9 years in the hair industry, and is very passionate about colour.
Anything from Balayages, Highlights, Colour Melts and Vibrants.
Pennys says her goals are to make her guests feel confident and happy when they leave her chair.

To book an appointment you can either call the salon or book online.
(Please note colour services are not available to book online, new clients will need to book in for a consultation before any colour service).

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you for all the gifts and tips, you’ve made us all feel very special.
We are taking some well earned time off and we’ll be back in the salon on Monday 29th. 🤶

Due to an issue beyond our control, our Admin manager has had to delete their Facebook and Instagram accounts. Unfortunately, the Instagram page for our Mapperley salon has been lost in the process. We are trying to appeal to Meta to reinstate but this may take time, if it's even possible! We may have to introduce a new Instagram account. Please bear with us while this is dealt with. 😤
