Monday 12th August the Caledonia Street salon will be open between 9:30am-1:30pm for free back to school haircuts for our local community 🏫
We understand the cost of living is increasing for everyone and we want to make sure all kids start the new school year with a fresh trim and healthy hair 🫶🏼
We ask that you only use this service if necessary so that we can help those who need it most 🤍
These appointments will be available to book via dm so please send the main Elira page a message to book your appointment, we will accept any walk ins on the day that we can accommodate also, but do recommend booking so you’re not left waiting ✂️
Please note, we are not barbers, so although we can trim short hair, we aren’t as skilled with using clippers etc. so for any boys’ haircuts please be aware we may not be able to go as short as would like ✂️

Mother Of The Bride 🤍✨

It is just as big a day for the parents. Watching their children have one of the most memorable days of their life’s. Getting to marry the love of their life. There can’t be a better feeling than seeing your own child be that happy. On wedding mornings we get to attend watching the mums, dads, aunties, uncle’s & grandparents just looking at them is one of favourite things about the wedding morning. Just a whole lot of love and it’s the best thing to witness. So we like to make sure they feel good too. How perfect is this updo by .elira

Life has been busy this past month. has been off and had her little buba. All while .elira , .elira & have been travelling all over to get our beautiful brides ready for their big day! We have so many wonderful pictures to share so keep your eye out as they are coming this way 👀

A little update 🤍✨

It’s official only has 2 weddings left this week then she is officially stopping for her maternity leave. 35 weeks pregnant and still going but it’s definitely time to slow down and get ready for baby no 2 to arrive! Abby will be back doing weddings from the end of August / start of September. But in the meantime it doesn’t stop for Elira bridal. .elira & .elira have 18 weddings over the next 2 months !!! Absolutely crazy! So keep your eyes out for all the wedding inspiration photos.

Regarding our 2026 diary we will open this at some point in July. Date still to be confirmed but will post on this asap

We’ve got so many amazing photos & reels to share which will be scheduled to go up while Abby is off. We will try our best to keep up on enquiries but they will be a lot slower than normal with the crazy amount of weddings all while being back to back with clients & Abby being off. Thanks for understanding x

Bridesmaid updo🤍✨

Same look done on different hair types & different hair colours. When looking for inspo pictures remember these are used for inspiration. Everyone’s hair is different. From thickness, to length & even colour which all impact how the style will look.

So just a reminder that we always do our best to get as close to your inspiration picture as we can but sometimes we may need to make tweeks and changes for it to work on your hair. It could be we add padding to help with the volume. You may need clip in extensions so we have a little more hair to help elevate the style. Or it could even be cutting your hair depending on the style

So although all these hair styles look pretty similar some have had to have paddling put in. Some have a full head of extensions in. And one girl had so much hair I had to come up with a way of hiding and compacting her hair more than the others. There is always ways to make it work but it will never be a mirror imagine from one head to the next 🤍
