Floatation therapy is experiencing a feeling of weightlessness, laying effortlessly on top of a shallow pool of warm water, saturated with half a tonne of epsom salt.
The environment is peacefully dark and quiet, with the intention of reducing input to your senses. The body releases any muscular tension, our parasympathetic nervous system (rest state) is activated, stress hormones and blood pressure reduce and spines gently decompress.

It’s been TWO whole years since the renovations began at Rest Space! And since then, we’ve welcomed over 800 new floaters and gained over 6,000 followers 🫶
Our journey began from working in mental health, at times suffering with our own & supporting those around us who have shared their own struggles.
And after trying floatation therapy for the first time, we wanted to build a safe space for people to find the same sense of calm and relief in the float pods that we did ourselves ✨

Inside a float pod, you’re weightless in 1000 pounds of Epsom salts. No light, no sound, no gravity pulling at you.

Here’s what we give you to make your float as comfortable as possible:
💧 Earplugs - keeps salt water out of your ears
💧 Vaseline - protects any cuts or dry skin from stinging
💧 A halo - supports your neck and head so you can fully let go
💧 Water bottle - for rinsing if salt gets near your eyes
A few things that help before you arrive:
• Avoid shaving 48 hours before (salt + fresh shave = sting)
• Skip big meals or caffeine beforehand (light snack is fine)
• Use the toilet before you float so nothing interrupts your nervous system reset
