Taylor came to me wanting to recreate the look of her favourite brown lip liner. We absolutely used that as inspiration, but one of the biggest things I explain during consultations is that lip blush isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Everyone’s natural lip colour, skin tone and undertones are different, so the exact same pigment can look completely different from one person to another. Lip blush isn’t applied onto a blank canvas, it’s blended with your natural lips to create a colour that’s tailored to you.

Because Taylor has a deeper skin tone, we were able to incorporate richer brown pigments into her custom mix without them looking ashy or washing her out. On a lighter, cooler skin type - it may heal completely differently!

That’s why every pigment blend is customised for each client and their goals, rather than copied from someone else’s results. 🤍
