Lymphoedema is a chronic condition where the lymphatic system can’t properly drain fluid, causing swelling in an arm or leg.

1️⃣ Primary lymphoedema is rare and usually develops gradually due to inherited issues with the lymphatic system.

2️⃣ Secondary lymphoedema is more common, often developing after surgery, injury or infection.

👉🏻✨Gentle lymphatic drainage, compression, and supportive care can help manage symptoms and improve comfort.

If you notice persistent swelling in a limb, it’s important to speak with your GP or a lymphoedema specialist for proper assessment.

I love seeing gorgeous mums to be walk in feeling weighed down by heavy legs and swollen ankles and leave feeling lighter, refreshed and smiling🤰
Easing some of their discomfort is one of my favourite treatments to do.
