I swear this is why I have such strong collar bones, I do this daily for a couple of minutes and people are always asking .. how do you get your jaw so sculpted.. your collar bones are amazing ... daily lymphatic drainage like these simple steps keep your lymphatic system healthy and moving, keeping fluid retention and puffiness at bay ... I get puffy, I get swollen especially in warmer weather, doing this daily can really help. Consistency is key.
Did you know your lymphatic system doesnât have its own pump? It relies on movement, deep breathing and gentle stimulation to keep lymph fluid flowing.
By gently stimulating the supraclavicular lymph nodes (just above your collarbones) and the axillary lymph nodes (under your arms) each day, youâre encouraging lymph to drain more efficiently through the bodyâs natural pathways.
This can help reduce fluid retention, facial puffiness, fullness around the jawline, neck and underarm area, leaving your natural contours looking more defined. Itâs important to remember this isnât fat lossâitâs helping your body clear excess fluid more effectively.
Just a few minutes a day can support your lymphatic system, reduce that heavy, puffy feeling and help reveal a naturally more sculpted appearance.

Following on from yesterdayâs postâŚ
I had so many messages asking, âWhat does a legal prescription actually look like?â
So here it is.
This is what a genuine UK pharmacy prescription label looks like when your anti-wrinkle treatment has been prescribed correctly.
Just like medication you collect from your GP or local pharmacy, it should clearly show:
âď¸ Your name
âď¸ The medication youâve been prescribed
âď¸ The dispensing pharmacy
âď¸ The prescription details
This isnât me trying to scare anyone or criticise other practitioners. Itâs about educating you so you know what to expect when you choose to have treatment.
As a client, you have every right to ask to see your prescription label. Any practitioner following the correct legal process should be happy to show it to you and explain exactly what youâre having injected.
I genuinely believe that transparency builds trust. My clients know exactly what theyâre receiving because I have nothing to hide.
Please donât be afraid to ask questions.
Your face deserves more than guesswork, and your safety should always come first.

Iâm genuinely fed up with hearing stories like this.
Not because of competition⌠because of patient safety.
Almost every week someone tells me theyâve had âBotoxâ for ÂŁ45, yet theyâve never met a prescriber, never seen a prescription, never seen the product, and have no idea what was actually injected.
That should concern everyone.
In the UK, Botulinum Toxin is a prescription-only medicine. It should be prescribed specifically for you by a qualified prescriber, and your medication should come from a registered pharmacy with your name on the pharmacy label.
If someone canât tell you exactly what theyâve injected, what happens if you have a reaction and the hospital asks what product youâve had?
These arenât scare tactics. Theyâre questions every practitioner should be able to answer.
The aesthetics industry doesnât need to be like this. You can build a successful business without cutting corners. You can make money and still be honest, ethical and put your clients first.
Please, do your research.
âď¸ Ask to see your prescription.
âď¸ Ask to see the pharmacy label with your name on it.
âď¸ Ask what product is being used.
A genuine practitioner will never be offended by those questions.
In my clinic, I have absolutely nothing to hide. Iâll happily show you your prescription, your pharmacy label, your product and your batch numbers. If you ask me months later what youâve had, I can tell you exactly.
There are far too many counterfeit and fake products circulating. Your face is worth more than taking that risk.
Please choose your practitioner carefully.

I believed some of these too⌠đ
The skincare and beauty industry is full of advice, but not all of it is true.
Some of these myths stop people getting the results they actually want, while others can cost you hundreds of pounds on products or treatments you simply donât need.
Swipe through and let me knowâŚ
Which one surprised you the most?
Or have you heard another skincare or lymphatic myth that youâd like me to bust in my next post?
Donât forget to save this post so you can come back to it later.
Helping women understand their skin is one of my favourite parts of my job, because once you know why something is happening, you can finally start treating the cause instead of just the symptoms.

Did you know your lymphatic system changes as you get older?
Hormones, stress, inflammation, reduced movement, surgery, illness and even everyday life can all influence how efficiently your lymphatic system works. When it slows down, you may notice puffiness, bloating, heavy legs, fluid retention, slower recovery, or simply feeling like your body isnât working quite the way it used to.
The good news? There are things you can do to support it.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, evidence-based treatment designed to encourage healthy lymphatic flow, helping your body naturally move excess fluid, reduce swelling and support your overall wellbeing.
Whether youâre looking for support with bloating, fluid retention, lipedema, lymphoedema, post-surgery recovery, menopause, or you simply want to feel lighter and healthier, Iâd love to help.
Every treatment is tailored to you because no two bodies are the same.

If youâd like to find out whether lymphatic drainage could benefit you, please drop me a message. Iâm always happy to have a friendly chat with no pressure and answer any questions you may have.

đ§ Drinking more water isnât always the answerâŚ
Staying hydrated is incredibly important, especially during warmer weather. But if youâre feeling puffy, heavy, sluggish or swollen, simply drinking more water may not be enough.
Your lymphatic system is responsible for helping move excess fluid and waste away from your tissues. Unlike your heart, which has its own pump, the lymphatic system relies on movement, breathing and muscle contractions to keep fluid flowing.
⨠Here are a few simple ways to support your lymphatic system:
đŚ Balance your hydration â Water is essential, but your body also needs electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and magnesium to help absorb and use fluids effectively.
đśââď¸ Keep moving â Even a gentle 10-minute walk can encourage healthy lymphatic flow. You donât need an intense workout to make a difference.
đŤ Take a few deep breaths â Slow diaphragmatic breathing acts like a natural pump, helping lymph move through the body.
𦵠Elevate your legs â If your legs feel tired or swollen, putting them up for 15â20 minutes allows gravity to assist fluid drainage.
đż Remember: Your lymphatic system loves gentle, consistent support rather than extremes. Small daily habits can make a real difference to how you feel.
