I swear this is why I have such strong collar bones, I do this daily for a couple of minutes and people are always asking .. how do you get your jaw so sculpted.. your collar bones are amazing ... daily lymphatic drainage like these simple steps keep your lymphatic system healthy and moving, keeping fluid retention and puffiness at bay ... I get puffy, I get swollen especially in warmer weather, doing this daily can really help. Consistency is key.

Did you know your lymphatic system doesn’t have its own pump? It relies on movement, deep breathing and gentle stimulation to keep lymph fluid flowing.

By gently stimulating the supraclavicular lymph nodes (just above your collarbones) and the axillary lymph nodes (under your arms) each day, you’re encouraging lymph to drain more efficiently through the body’s natural pathways.

This can help reduce fluid retention, facial puffiness, fullness around the jawline, neck and underarm area, leaving your natural contours looking more defined. It’s important to remember this isn’t fat loss—it’s helping your body clear excess fluid more effectively.

Just a few minutes a day can support your lymphatic system, reduce that heavy, puffy feeling and help reveal a naturally more sculpted appearance.

A consultation with me isn’t about selling you treatments.

It’s about listening.

It’s a relaxed conversation over a coffee, where we chat about your skin, your concerns, what’s working, what isn’t, and most importantly… what you want to achieve.

There’ll never be pressure, awkward sales tactics or someone pointing out flaws you didn’t know you had.

Instead, you’ll leave with honest advice, realistic expectations and a plan that’s completely tailored to you.

If one treatment is all you need, I’ll tell you.

If I genuinely believe your skin needs six months or even a year of consistency to achieve your goals, I’ll tell you that too.

Following on from yesterday’s post…

I had so many messages asking, “What does a legal prescription actually look like?”

So here it is.

This is what a genuine UK pharmacy prescription label looks like when your anti-wrinkle treatment has been prescribed correctly.

Just like medication you collect from your GP or local pharmacy, it should clearly show:
✔️ Your name
✔️ The medication you’ve been prescribed
✔️ The dispensing pharmacy
✔️ The prescription details

This isn’t me trying to scare anyone or criticise other practitioners. It’s about educating you so you know what to expect when you choose to have treatment.

As a client, you have every right to ask to see your prescription label. Any practitioner following the correct legal process should be happy to show it to you and explain exactly what you’re having injected.

I genuinely believe that transparency builds trust. My clients know exactly what they’re receiving because I have nothing to hide.

Please don’t be afraid to ask questions.
Your face deserves more than guesswork, and your safety should always come first.

I’m genuinely fed up with hearing stories like this.

Not because of competition… because of patient safety.

Almost every week someone tells me they’ve had “Botox” for £45, yet they’ve never met a prescriber, never seen a prescription, never seen the product, and have no idea what was actually injected.

That should concern everyone.

In the UK, Botulinum Toxin is a prescription-only medicine. It should be prescribed specifically for you by a qualified prescriber, and your medication should come from a registered pharmacy with your name on the pharmacy label.

If someone can’t tell you exactly what they’ve injected, what happens if you have a reaction and the hospital asks what product you’ve had?

These aren’t scare tactics. They’re questions every practitioner should be able to answer.

The aesthetics industry doesn’t need to be like this. You can build a successful business without cutting corners. You can make money and still be honest, ethical and put your clients first.

Please, do your research.

✔️ Ask to see your prescription.
✔️ Ask to see the pharmacy label with your name on it.
✔️ Ask what product is being used.

A genuine practitioner will never be offended by those questions.

In my clinic, I have absolutely nothing to hide. I’ll happily show you your prescription, your pharmacy label, your product and your batch numbers. If you ask me months later what you’ve had, I can tell you exactly.

There are far too many counterfeit and fake products circulating. Your face is worth more than taking that risk.

Please choose your practitioner carefully.

I believed some of these too… 👀

The skincare and beauty industry is full of advice, but not all of it is true.

Some of these myths stop people getting the results they actually want, while others can cost you hundreds of pounds on products or treatments you simply don’t need.

Swipe through and let me know…

Which one surprised you the most?

Or have you heard another skincare or lymphatic myth that you’d like me to bust in my next post?

Don’t forget to save this post so you can come back to it later.

Helping women understand their skin is one of my favourite parts of my job, because once you know why something is happening, you can finally start treating the cause instead of just the symptoms.

Did you know your lymphatic system changes as you get older?

Hormones, stress, inflammation, reduced movement, surgery, illness and even everyday life can all influence how efficiently your lymphatic system works. When it slows down, you may notice puffiness, bloating, heavy legs, fluid retention, slower recovery, or simply feeling like your body isn’t working quite the way it used to.

The good news? There are things you can do to support it.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, evidence-based treatment designed to encourage healthy lymphatic flow, helping your body naturally move excess fluid, reduce swelling and support your overall wellbeing.

Whether you’re looking for support with bloating, fluid retention, lipedema, lymphoedema, post-surgery recovery, menopause, or you simply want to feel lighter and healthier, I’d love to help.

Every treatment is tailored to you because no two bodies are the same.

If you’d like to find out whether lymphatic drainage could benefit you, please drop me a message. I’m always happy to have a friendly chat with no pressure and answer any questions you may have.

💧 Drinking more water isn’t always the answer…

Staying hydrated is incredibly important, especially during warmer weather. But if you’re feeling puffy, heavy, sluggish or swollen, simply drinking more water may not be enough.

Your lymphatic system is responsible for helping move excess fluid and waste away from your tissues. Unlike your heart, which has its own pump, the lymphatic system relies on movement, breathing and muscle contractions to keep fluid flowing.

✨ Here are a few simple ways to support your lymphatic system:

💦 Balance your hydration – Water is essential, but your body also needs electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and magnesium to help absorb and use fluids effectively.

🚶‍♀️ Keep moving – Even a gentle 10-minute walk can encourage healthy lymphatic flow. You don’t need an intense workout to make a difference.

🫁 Take a few deep breaths – Slow diaphragmatic breathing acts like a natural pump, helping lymph move through the body.

🦵 Elevate your legs – If your legs feel tired or swollen, putting them up for 15–20 minutes allows gravity to assist fluid drainage.

🌿 Remember: Your lymphatic system loves gentle, consistent support rather than extremes. Small daily habits can make a real difference to how you feel.
