Real talk alert!! With the ’rise of living crisis’ looming over all of us I was really worried about this half term… all you see on the news is dread and heartache and it’s hard to bat all the negative energy out of your everyday lives… but the fact of the matter is, what this half term has taught me well, is that you don’t need loads of money but ALL YOU NEED IS TIME, time with your children and loved ones. Covid taught me that but slowly slowly as the years go on, you forget it. Me and my little family yesterday made homemade chocolates cost me £2 to melt some chocolate and put them on baking paper. We then played uno and cards all night! And then we camped out in the front room and binged watched movies. It cost me nothing but yet when I asked my boys rate your day yesterday out of 10 they rated it 100 because of the time, laughter, jokes and happiness we shared, not the materialistic things! Children don’t remember money they remember memories and if you create memories and cherish them and spend time with them your more richer than you think!! 💞💞 BE POSTIVE STAY POSITIVE GUYS! remember to cherish the smaller things in life! X
