Good fan vs. Bad fan
Yesterday I was with a new client who came in with lashes from another lash tech. Fan on the left side is what I removed before I started.There are multiple things wrong :
1. Base is to thick.
2. Way too much glue has been used.
3. Because of thick base fan was stuck on multiple lashes at the same time which causes fallout.
Fan on the right side:
1.Thin Base.
2.Right amount of glue.
3.Lashes spread evenly across fan.
Reminder: just because lashes look good after procedure,doesn't mean they are not damaging. Good technique when applying -healthy natural lashes ❤️🍋

Ladies,this is why your lash tech always tells you not to pick your lashes 🙊
My client was due for an Infill appointment but few outgrown extensions started bothering her and she decided to get rid of them by twisting the extensions until it poped off.Twisting caused natural lash to break in half. This can also happen when using lash curler,with or without extensions. Please be patient and book your Infills on time ❤️🍒

Let's talk - LASH LENGTH ❗️
In order to keep natural lashes healthy extensions should be 3-5mm longer than natural lash. Extreme lengths on very fair lashes will cause "holes" and broken lashes and therefore damage to lash follicles which can sometimes be irreversible. Simply meaning that lashes won't grow back.
Experienced lash tech will advise on the right length and thickness as everyones lashes are different and require unique approach.If lash extensions are applied and maintained correctly they won't cause any damage to natural lashes and can be worn without taking breaks to let lashes "rest" 🍒
