SUP Yoga Sale

How are we celebrating the summer solstice week ? Tuesday evening I am running a taster SUP yoga session available for all those who have booked with me, can swim and agree to the participants disclaimer (you agree to participate at own risk). A busy few days !
1. View from the , gorgeous pink sky!
2. Beach walk towards seal colony at Ravenscar! Collected lots of rocks and fossils on the way!
3. Lucky finds, so many ammonites looking forward to hammering my find open! Fingers crossed!
4. Coastal path hike, 6.5km of well kept path
5. Whitby Abbey, all good walks end with a refreshment
6. Tennis at the top of the bay, followed by crabbing on the beach!
7. So many crabs!
8. Morning run and two barn owls near Boggle Hole. Managed a video of one!
9. Almost looks good enough to stand up paddle board, if we had stayed another day, who knows!
10. Treated myself to an English Rose wine from Robin Hoods Bay Vineyard. I hope this is as nice as their white!

Feels like summer back in Sale Manchester

Looking at a date for stand up paddle (SUP) yoga at Sale Water Park as soon as I can safely leave my gloves at home

Winter weekend on Ullswater, winter paddling is the best for having the place to yourself in places. I wasn’t planning on a dip in the lake but had to be done after an , so lovely to sit in with the amazing fellside view and nice to cool off in the lake too. I haven’t managed a long dip in the cold water lake but we managed 2 dips and swimming for 20 - 60 seconds 😅🥶 felt great afterwards. I snapped a lovely red squirrel at Aira force another benefit of a quieter winter walk. Stay safe little 🐿️ until next time

Not saying goodbye to summer paddles just yet! I wonder how many more 20 degree plus days there are left of summer / autumn 2024?

Speedy downwind paddle Glenridding Ullswater to Pooley bridge

Ullswater downwind paddle! Speedy 12km from Glenridding pier to Crown Inn at Pooley Bridge.
Steamer wasn’t running due to wind and ‘swell in the mid waters’ meant fun but challenging conditions to stay upright on the way!
Stopped for picnic and refreshing dip at the end.
Easy to role up the SUP bag and put under bungie ropes.
Bus back to start leaves from outside The Crown, you can exit the water direct into the beer garden, £2 for scenic bus ride back!
Loved it 10/10! check out the max speed on Strava!!

SUP yoga, yoga wear, and now smart casual too. Joking aside, super impressed that nothing was keeping this lady from joining the class!
A reminder that life isn’t always perfect but we can make the best of things!
