Celebrating my nephew’s birthday at the farm was definitely what the doctor ordered. Getting out in the fresh air and being around family was 100% needed & anyone who knows me knows that I was completely in my element feeding the goats🐐😂

Grief is such a strange thing… you can have moments where you laugh and feel okay, and then it hits you all over again. Just taking things day by day and not putting too much pressure on myself❤️

Life’s been a bit quieter on here lately and it’s about time I let you know what’s been going on…

We sadly lost my mother-in-law recently after her brave battle with cancer🎗️

She was such a huge supporter of my business and would never let me forget how much she believed in me. On those days where I felt like giving up, she pushed me to keep going. She knew in her heart that this little business of mine would one day change my life.

Grief is a whirlwind of emotions - I’ve been trying to process everything whilst also trying to figure out how to navigate life again. I didn’t want to come back on here and just pretend everything’s fine, because that’s not real life and I know that so many people go through things like this quietly.

International Women’s Day felt like the perfect moment to reflect on my journey💭

My career started back in 2016, where I began my nursing degree and after qualifying in 2019, I’ve spent over 7 years in the NHS. Supporting patients and families through the most difficult time of their lives has taught me empathy, resilience and the importance of patient-centred care🥰

Those experiences have helped shaped the practitioner I am today.

Training in aesthetics has allowed me to combine my medical background with helping people to feel the most THEM in their own skin✨

I’m so incredibly proud of the journey I’ve been on and I’m so excited for what’s to come🫶🏽

An M-shape lip is actually really common - it refers to a lip shape where the Cupid’s bow area (the centre of the upper lip) has a prominent dip that resembles the letter “M” with more volume centrally and thinner, less defined sides.

My lovely client came to me feeling quite conscious of that shape. She’s been on the fence about having lip filler to correct it for a while but she didn’t want anything dramatic - just a softer, more even look while still keeping everything very natural.

It was her first time having lip filler, so understandably she was a little nervous - I carried out a full consultation to discuss the process in depth and on the day, we took our time and I talked her through how we were going to correct it so she felt reassured every step of the way.

When it comes to correcting an M-shape, it’s not about just adding volume. Overfilling can often make the shape look heavier rather than correcting it. The key is very precise placement, using small, strategic amounts of filler in specific areas to soften the peaks and gently smooth the lip line💉

She was super happy with the result and has already booked in again, which is always the BEST compliment🫶🏽
