📰 if you were watching the news this morning, you may have been surprised to hear that people are suffering with allergies linked to gel nails. this is something we have been aware of for a long time & are very happy to reassure our clients that we do not put you at risk of allergic reactions whilst doing your gel mani/pedi.

a little bit about gel nail reactions and why you are safe with us :

• reactions to acrylate are caused when gel isn't cured with the correct lamp and/or if you/your technician is exposing the skin around the nail to gel, or if you are having an unregulated brand used on your nails. brands regulated in the USA/ UK/ Europe are safe.

• reactions are more commonly happening to those who are using at home kits.

• we have used the Jessica nail system since 1997 and have never had any adverse reactions.

• we use the correct lamps for both Mii & Jessica ( the lamps can be used for both systems). your nails are cured for the appropriate times.

• our therapists are trained to ensure accurate paint work and a neat finish around the cuticle.

• Jessica is regulated in the USA, and Mii is regulated in the UK. Both totally safe.

Sara will be working with clients every Tuesday & Thursday. Sara is a senior therapist with over a decade of experience. She specialises in HD brows, Alumier MD facials, and is qualified in almost all of the treatments we offer in salon.
