Within our body, we have many systems made up of organs, tissues and receptors that work together to keep our bodies healthy and balanced.  

Our endocannabinoid system plays a vital role in maintaining homeostasis around our body. It controls major functions like sleep, appetite, digestion, stress, mood, inflammation and many more. The endocannabinoid system spans throughout your body from head to toe, it is made up of two main receptors known as CB1 and CB2 receptors. Out of all the receptors found in our body, cannabinoid receptors are the most abundant. We find this fascinating because the endocannabinoid system is a fairly recent discovery relative to modern medicine.

Our recipe uses babassu oil which is rich in healthy fatty acids. It is lightweight, non greasy and will not clog your pores. Babassu oil is also known for it's anti-fungal properties and helping to reduce acne and acne scarring.

We also add jojoba oil which is incredibly effective at mimicking our skin's sebum production. Sebum is our skins natural oils that prevent it from becoming too dry or too greasy. Jojoba oil helps your skin find balance, great for dry skin types and greasy skin types.
