Pendulum Fitness has moved from Moreland's Trading Estate to Halo Leisure. We now run from Brockworth Sports Centre and Holmleigh Park Sports Centre. To book for sessions in Tuffley or brockworth use the link in my bio or message me directly!

The studio is equipped with:
*over 230kg worth of 2" plates
*20kg 2" 7ft barbell

*Battle Rope *2 variable height plyometric boxes
*Dumbbells ranging from 1-10kg
*Kettlebells ranging from 4-28kg *Body Composition scale
*Wide selection of resistance bands

As some of you may already know I recently left The Gym Group Gloucester Quays] as a personal trainer and have created my own Personal Training and Sports Therapy space .
Big thank you to The Gym Group Gloucester Quays] for giving me the opportunity they did as a newly qualified PT.
From January I will also be starting a running club to help people whether you would like to improve your 5km time, learn to run 5km, or would just like some extra cardio every week. If you are interested in joining, send me a DM.

Any shortcomings in nutrition cannot be fixed via exercise. If you have an inflammatory condition, caused or worsened by poor nutrition, which has created an environment where your body can not produce the neurotransmitters, and enzymes necessary, exercise will not cure your condition [1]. However, exercise has been shown to alleviate symptoms of depression in people with inflammatory disorders like Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Alzheimer's.

The feeling of completing an important task or mastering something has been shown to improve mood [1]. This makes exercise a great way to promote this as exercise sessions themselves are planned, structured, and purposeful. This means that completing each exercise session should bring around this feeling of self-efficacy, and even more when a larger goal is met. This positivity makes a person more likely to adhere to other self-set goals and increase overall self-esteem. Having higher self-esteem then makes you less likely to succumb to depressive behaviours.
