Ever wondered what actually goes into a home visit from your Healthy Feet Practitioner?
One thing I'm really proud of is that every single appointment is carried out using fully sterilised instruments. Always. No exceptions. Each packet of sterile instruments is just used once - per patient, because when it comes to your feet, hygiene and safety aren't something I'm willing to cut corners on! 💙
Preparing for each day and using best working practices reassures my patients that they receive the best treatment standards in their home environment. 😊
Do you have a foot problem and you’re not sure if it is something I can help with? Just ask! I'd always rather you reach out and let me point you in the right direction than sit at home wondering. 😊
Get in touch and let's get your feet feeling their best.

❤️👣A lot of my footcare appointments are arranged by relatives for their loved ones. Sometimes it can be because they can no longer reach their feet, sometimes it’s because they have challenges with their feet that need special attention, or sometimes it’s simply because a foot care treatment makes them feel better. ❤️👣Whatever the reason, every patient I see is treated with care and attention. A lot of my regulars are now my friends. ❤️ 👣If you know a relative or loved one who you think needs or would appreciate a foot care treatment in their own home, I’d love to hear from you.

Love your trainers? Your feet might not feel the same way 😅
Spending long hours in trainers creates the warm, damp conditions that athlete's foot loves. If you've noticed any itching, redness, flaking or a burning sensation between your toes, it could be exactly that!
A few simple habits can help:
• Let your trainers air out between wears
• Change your socks at least daily; moisture-wicking socks are a game changer!
• Dry your feet thoroughly after washing, especially between those toes
• Avoid walking barefoot in communal areas like changing rooms or poolsides
Athlete's foot is common and nothing to be embarrassed about, but it is worth treating as it won't always clear up on its own.
If it's been hanging around or you're not sure what you're dealing with, get in touch, I'm happy to help!

If yourself or a loved one is living with diabetes, this one's important 💙
Diabetes can cause a condition called neuropathy, where the nerves in your feet become damaged over time, reducing sensation. This means that blisters, corns or ulcers can develop without you even feeling them, and when things go unnoticed, small problems can quickly become bigger ones.
Here's what to keep an eye on:
• Blisters or sores that appear without an obvious cause
• Corns or hard skin that are growing or changing
• Any cuts or wounds that are slow to heal
• Redness, swelling or changes in skin temperature
The good news? Catching these things early makes a huge difference. A regular foot check means nothing gets missed and you can stay one step ahead (pardon the pun!) 😅
If you or someone you care for is living with diabetes, please don't put off getting your feet checked. I'm here to help, and it really could make all the difference.
