Sometimes you just need someone to actually listen.
My new client today had been having BIAB elsewhere — but her length and shape wishes weren't being heard. She'd had them removed on the high street and came to me with dry, damaged nails that needed some serious love.
We started with a thorough cuticle tidy — this is going to be a gradual process over a few appointments, because rushing the cuticle area does more harm than good. Then it was all about repair and protection: vitamins, vitamin primer, rubber base, TwentyPro hard gel and In the Bare by OPI. ✨
The result? The exact length and shape she'd been asking for — finished with a generous dose of cuticle oil to get that moisture back in.
This is what happens when you feel heard in the chair.

Self-care hits different when you do it yourself.
Did my own mani-pedi today — yes, it takes a while, yes my back had something to say about it, but honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way. When you know your products inside out and you trust your own hands, the results speak for themselves.
I'm wearing Loubs by TwentPro — a proper, unapologetic bright red that I am OBSESSED with right now. And look at it in that sunshine. The way it just glows.
Hard gel, proper prep, and a colour that deserves to be seen. That's the vibe.

This is Biosculpture nails after manicures every 4 weeks for 1 year: no damage, just your healthy nail, enhanced with vitamins.
Slide 2 - Biosculpture manicure with Anthea. I used sps, grip, flex and base. Beautiful, flexible, breathable.

✨ THIS is what an Elim Pedicure can do! ✨
BEFORE ➡️ AFTER — the results speak for themselves! 👣
Look at that transformation! Dry, rough, cracked skin completely eliminated — revealing soft, smooth, hydrated feet underneath. 😍
Why your feet DESERVE an Elim Pedicure:
Removes dry & dead skin build-up with a tonic, not a blade.
Targets hard calluses & rough patches by "melting" the enzymes in the skin.
Acid exfoliant to remove any dead skin.
Mud mask to rehydrate, just like a facial for your feet.
Soak in anti-bacterial spa additive to rehydrate and rejuvenate.
Deep hydration with foot perfector to soften and smooth.
This service leaves skin visibly smoother & softer
Results you can actually SEE (and FEEL!)
Safe, professional medical-grade treatment
Your feet carry you everywhere — it's time to show them some love!
Whether you're prepping for sandal season or just want to feel amazing, an Elim Pedicure is the treatment your feet have been waiting for.

Working on short nails can be difficult. You can't extend using forms as there is no free edge to fit the form under. Some would build a little ledge on the skin and then use a form, but I prefer not to let product touch the skin (although if a product needs to hard gel is the safest).
Instead I fully prepped the nail with Biosculpture vitamins and SPS. I pushed back as much cuticles as possible and got rid of the dry areas of the skin, so there was nothing left to pick.
I fully prepared a set of full cover tips, matching each to fully fit over the existing nail. I used base gel to "glue" the tips to the nail and fully cured for 60 seconds.
As my client hadn't had longer nails for a while we kept them very short to give her time to adjust to the length and allow for the new growth. We also kept them very rounded so no harsh edges remained (easy to pick and catch).
I advised cuticle oil to keep the skin soft and smooth, so there was no temptation to pick.
Next appointment is in 4 weeks. At this appointment we will check growth and decide whether to extend the nail with hard gel and forms, rebalance the full over tips or leave the length that has grown.
There's always a solution to problem nails!

Sandal season is approaching and your feet have been in boots since October. No judgement. Truly. 😂
But maybe it's time.
An Elim pedicure will sort out everything you've been ignoring since last summer — hard skin, dry heels, sad looking toenails — the lot.
You'll leave walking on clouds. Your feet will look like they belong to someone who has their life together. 🦶✨

Just want to make the point that this set has lasted so well (4 weeks), because of daily cuticle oil use.
They have survived Christmas, and all that picking of labels, sellotape etc, 4 days at centre parcs in the pool and a lot of growth and not a chip or one bit of lifting.

1. Use Nourishing Oils & Nail Serums
Cold air strips nails of moisture, so daily oiling is key.
2. Apply Hand Cream Frequently
Winter = low humidity → dehydrated nails.
Pro tip:
Layer cuticle oil first, then a rich cream to seal it in.
3. Wear Gloves—Indoors & Outdoors
Gloves are non-negotiable in winter.
Outside: protects nails from cold and wind
During chores: prevents damage from water exposure and detergents.
4. Stay Hydrated From the Inside
Hydration keeps nails flexible instead of brittle.
5. Eat Nail-Friendly Foods
Biotin: eggs, almonds, salmon
Protein: nails are keratin, so aim for consistent protein intake
Healthy fats (Omega-3s): chia seeds, walnuts, fish
Iron: spinach, lentils, red meat
Zinc: seeds, beans, shellfish
