Then in August 2023, I got the opportunity to do a solo craft fair event on my own. Honestly… it wasn’t the success I hoped for, and I quickly realised that type of event maybe wasn’t for me.

But I’m still so glad I tried. 🤍
Running a business is a lot of trial and error, and every experience teaches you something valuable. That event showed me where Mia truly belonged and where our customers were.

After that, I put all my focus into booking as many days as I possibly could at Westfield Stratford City — showing up consistently, learning every single day, improving our stand, speaking to customers, and slowly building the brand step by step. ✨

Looking back now, even the “unsuccessful” moments played a huge part in getting us to where we are today.

Someone cancelled last minute and we took the spot without really knowing what to expect. We worked 3 days straight, felt nervous, overwhelmed and excited all at once… but the turnout was honestly incredible 🥹

The sales were more than we ever imagined and for the first time it felt like maybe this little dream could actually become something bigger.

One of the most special parts was having my dad, my brother , my husband and one of my best friends come to visit and support me throughout it all. I’ll never forget that feeling of seeing people believe in Mia before we even fully believed in ourselves 🤍

From a tiny pop up to where we are today… it all started with taking a chance. ✨
